Nice game. The control was kinda annoying though. ^^

Developer

Hey there thanks for your review ! The main concept of our game is to play as a rock based on physics. We then decided to add a little "push forward" button using spacebar in order to give the player control of the trajectory and the speed of the rock. We did not want the player to have full control over it was the whole purpose of it. :D

I liked the opening “dialogue” between the moss and the rock, the camera, and cinematic + voice acting at the end! The game was super choppy for me though and it was hard for me to control the movement, so I ended up with moss.

We are sorry for the unoptimisation of our game, we are used to work for cinema and got in the video game community very recently. We have a lot to learn about optimisation and how it works as it was not a matter for "video rendering" we thank you tho for trying our game to its fullest and appologize for the laggy part ! :D

The cinema background is clear – I thought you did great work with the cameras and cinematic cutscenes :)

sheesh the game look really cool, love the overall vibe of the game... a web build would have been nice, since downloading isnt really an option for most people (∩˃o˂∩)♡

Hey there ! We are really happy that you liked our game ! We did not know how to make it as a web build haha and our game, because of the lack of time, was unoptimized and quite unplayable for most of our testers. We are currently working on ourselves to try and produce game more optimized in the future ! Thanks for your review and we hope we'll see you in another jam :D.

Very cool aesthetic! The excitement of rolling down the hill at top speed is also really fun!
It was a bit surprising sometimes to get moss on the rock, because I was avoiding green and didn't realize the branches also count. Even after that, it felt like the collision on the trees was a bit larger than I expected, but that may have been hard to gauge when I was going so fast.
I loved the joke at the end if you get any moss on the rock, haha, that was perfect...

Developer(+1)

You've only seen one of the two endings of the game ! Try to win so your stone doesn't gather moss and so you can discover the win cinematic haha! We are so happy that our game made you have fun ! We are working on the collisions as well as the optimisation ! We had to focus on other aspects of the game due to the lack of time but we appriciate gladly your review and hope to see you test our game in future jams !

I love being a fucking rock. The concept is really original, and the way to complete the game is clever. My p.c is having trouble getting the game to run, but I managed to finish it :)

If you could try and rate my game, I'd be grateful!

We are sorry you could not experiment the game the way we made it ! The point was to go down the hill without touching the branches ! But glad our little rock lad pleased you !

The game is pretty good, and I love the environment. At the start, I didn’t know what to do.

Developer

Thanks a lot for your review ! We understand the confusion about the start of the game but we hope you still had fun playing it and will work on it in our future project !!!! :
