loved this! i enjoyed seeing what you guys thought students today would want to put into a time capsule and the little accompanying profiles. i got ‘the historian’ for my capsule, and that really accurately captured my thought process when selecting objects.

seeing the 2006 capsule hit me with so much childhood nostalgia… i grew up watching high school musical every week since my family friends loved it – one of them actually recently got married and did her first dance to “can i have this dance” from high school musical 3.

philosophical seed journey.. the white on black is very striking and helps bring the focus to the dialogue. the pan over the whole world for the credits + interactable title screem is a nice touch

love the art style and body-switching mechanics! my girl would get stuck by the wall though, so i was not sure how to progress

love how the environment changes with the eyes opening/closing! rolling around is fun too

i really liked the vehicle controls! i want the guy’s hat… i do not know if this was intentional but i got jumpscared looking around and seeing that the player character was headless

love the mood set by the music!

love the art direction and super cinematic opening! i liked the atmosphere and the sea jelly creature

was not able to finish it though – the UI would flicker a lot, and running caused the camera to change, so it started giving me a bit of a headache.

love how the walkman visibly changes BLUE’s world! music and art fit really well. i do wish that the platforms were a little closer together since i felt like i was depending on coyote time to make most jumps

really cinematic! love the environments

really cute storybook art style, and i like the two-player controls

the art is cute, and i liked the first minigame best! where i’m from, i know ladybugs for eating aphids, so it was cool to see what other garden pests were in their diet

showing how the author’s life informs her work is very inspired! the two modes of play is fun. i chose ending 3 ✌️

what a lovely and meditative experience… really liked the 2.5D style and how the mechanics show the power of reframing words

super cute! love the peaceful music, cute art, and the part swapping mechanic! here is my patch with patch ii…

love the art direction – really captured a specific atmosphere! (though unfortunately, the flickering gives me a headache so i can’t finish the game yet)

the music and art go together so well!

oo love the card combination system and the enemy creatures

holy mote! this was very cute and peaceful

charming little game! i liked how jumping felt

made me feel things i’m not sure how to put into words. beautiful and evocative experience

love the concept and narrative throughline! all the parts come together really well

Yay! Hope you have fun with the girlies

Thanks for playing our game and sharing your thoughts! Sent your comment to the rest of the team to receive a flurry of heart reacts (with the Gertie contributors being especially excited about your love for their Bee Girl)

Thank you for your kind words – I forwarded them to the team :)

Try out the Apple-bees slider, and pay attention to your cursor 🍎🐝

We’re so honored that you chose to break in your new PC with our game! Really enjoying seeing all the love for characters that didn’t get much development in the show too :)

Re: splash art, we won’t be adding any new features to the game at this point, but we will be including the art assets used in the game, including the splashes, in our charity bonus bundle for Palestine. More info can be found on the donation form.

There are more dates after the mall! Keep an eye on how your map changes for the next location.

It sounds like you could have done better with Nara and Tracker in the first four weeks!

MILD SPOILERS ON CLICK If you did well enough, Cassandra will prompt you about where you want to take your relationship(s) after week 4.

The game is downloadable on PC and Mac!

Hello! We posted an FAQ yesterday clarifying that there are two criteria for successfully asking a love interest to the Spring Fling: a minimum number of dates and choosing enough “good” dialogue options. The former is tracked in the notebook with the apples (half an apple per date), and the latter is revealed to the player through the love interest’s responses and Cassandra’s debriefs after each date.

Kipperlilly’s route is definitely the toughest one, but for good reason. Think about what Kristen’s established relationship is with her. The rejection dialogue clues you in to what’s important to her and why she’d hesitate to accept your ask!

Thank you for support! Our team would love if you’d support a Palestinian campaign – we’ll be sharing extra and behind-the-scenes content in a special bonus bundle. More info on our donation form.

There are a few places you can spot Adaine in the game :)

Thank you for checking the game out even when kinetic novels aren’t your thing!

Loved the worldbuilding wrt changeling nature and characterizations… enjoyed the Ugly Duckling Edition a lot and looking forward for the updated version!!

For sure! It’s definitely a lot harder to understand how new players will respond to your game from a dev perspective since you worked on it so you know everything! Had the same issue with my own game, as you can see from all of the feedback with people finding it difficult to understand.

I liked the satire on corporations and the art direction! I also like the progression – feels super satisfying to be able to drill faster and faster, and also that you eventually stop seeing coal blocks so your run has a limit. It did take me a moment to see the “press space to start” on the top right corner before my first run.

I like the presentation a lot – the little dialogue with the alien and the music and SFX are very charming. It took me a bit to understand that the card effects activate upon placement, and I do wish I could review what the effects are for when I get a slot machine so I can decide where best to put it.

Thank you for taking the time to try it out :D

The cinema background is clear – I thought you did great work with the cameras and cinematic cutscenes :)

Interesting incremental game! I like the opening and how you were inspired by plants. I was not clear on the pricing or effect each upgrade had on the plant and eventually reached a point where I bought all possible cells, chloroplasts, and mitochondria and had nothing to do but wait to eventually accumulate enough energy to buy a new leaf pair. Wasn’t clear if there was a more specific goal.
