Great job!! The game feels super thoroughly completed and the art is amazing. I love the different species of fish and how everything feels alien.
This is so good! I especially love the art and sound so much. The title screen alone just makes me happy. I personally feel like you nailed the gamejam theme, and everyone on this team should feel very proud of what they created here! I think I played enough to find every way to die, hahaha. Black hole, astroid, and dehydration (?)
This feels like a modern arcade classic. 💚
Really impressive! Pretty art, nice feeling movement, nice hook mechanic. Good job!!
pretty cool game and nice concept! I had fun playing it, you also have really nice art in the game, really like the colors, logo is amazing too
Art work: Great! love the colour and just overall look of everything:
Music: Love it, very chill vibes, definitely fits the space theme.
Gameplay: Very smooth and enjoyable
Black hole: >:( it kill me
This is so well made! There's a lot of great polish and attention to detail, you nailed your artstyle and the gameplay ended up being super satisfying (the harpoon bumping you in the opposite direction was my favourite touch). One tiny complaint I have is that it felt like the game didn't really get more difficult as you survived for longer, so if you could survive the initial difficulty level you would kinda just live forever. Maybe increased passive oxygen usage, faster/denser asteroid spawns or something else as time passes would help? Either way I had a great time, the longest I went was 250
subtle flex ;)Thank you! 250! How?! Wow, I knew I was bad at my own games, but that is impressive.
You are right that there isn't any kind of difficulty scaling. We talked about adding maybe more black holes or less oxygen bubbles if you went too far from the spawn point, but in the end time ran out :D
Very cool game! Love the color palette, art work and music. Gave it a few rounds and managed to get up to a score of 23.
If I could make one suggestion it would be that the stars that pull you in have some visual effect like a spiral letting you know that’s what is pulling you in.
Thanks! 23 is a pretty good score, I only managed to get to 30 once, and I think that was before we spawned asteroids.
You make a very good point about the "stars that pull you in". They are supposed to be black holes, and from the beginning we called them that, so it seemed super-obvious to us, but it makes sense that a new player could be confused.
Hands down the coolest game I've rated so far. How did you make the movement so smooth?
godot rigidbody2d does most of the work :)
Man, i only ever use character bodies, I should really try out rigid bodies some more
I really enjoy the movement, it feels I'm drifting in space, very fun to move around, very satisfying to catch those fishes with my harpoon! Great game! :D
This is super impressive to be made in this time slot. Love the presentation and art so much! I think there could have been a bit more clarity as to what I need to fish vs what I need to run into/avoid, but other than that great job!
Nice control and elegant gameplay! Great work! I like your game, top3 of my favourite!
A little too hard for me, maybe the thrusters are a little too quick, but it looks amazing and a very good use of the limitation. Well done!
Love the art!
I really enjoyed this!
Great work, love the audio, visuals, game play, everything. Great work!
Very nicely polished, really nice art.
Simple but fun gameplay, i like how you have to grapple stuff instead of just running into it to get it, good design.
overall nice and solid game! great job
Liked it a lot! Nice visuals, nice concept and I like the sound effects !
