For a first game, this is pretty impressive. Your game mechanic isn't anything new but it works well,  and the quick respawn and numerous checkpoints help to keep the player moving and avoid any frustration. Your control/movement is simple but responsive, and you even have sound effects.

Some music would elevate the experience and I think your color palette is a little harsh on the eyes, but overall you have done an incredible job.

REALLY good work for your first jam entry!! I especially like the character design being a block of one unit, makes the drop-platform on death very easy to predict and it's a very appropriate use of theme. Really like the palette and sprite work; there's a little bit of mixels going on but that's a more of a personal preference for aesthetics. Speed runs of this would be real fun, you've definitely got some solid bones here ^^

Several games I've played in this jam use this idea but I think this is the best of them all, actually feels fun to control and feels more polished than the rest! Would love to play a full game of this

thank you very much! i wanted to make the game longer but i am not good at level design

in the future, i might make a full version if i feel like it

I liked very much the graphics and overall style :D, btw, found the [REDACTED]
It would be fun to have a death-counter so it would be a challenge to beat the game with the least deaths possible, buy anyways I enjoyed it

Loved the overall aesthetic of the game! Normally, I'd tell people that the game needs music, but your game for some reason had a very light and pleasant feel without it! I loved your graphics as well, simple yet obviously made with intention with the purple, green, and orange balance going on there. And finally, the gameplay was also fun! Looks like you had a similar issue of trying to figure out level ideas as I did (I had the same concept of using corpses!). But with what you had it made for a great starting place with the possibility to add plenty of more obstacles and new ways to use your corpses, great job!

thank you for your feedback! i am not very good at level design but i am glad you had fun :D

I found the secret spot!!

Thanks for making this, I had a fun time :)

What does that say about us as a society that we both decided to jump off the edge once we finished the game only to find a secret spot?
