I loved this puzzle game! The music is relaxing, the color palette pleasing to look at, there's no countdown timer with annoying beeping noises every two seconds stressing us out.. All in all, it's a perfectly relaxing experience~ I love how the game slowly introduces us to new "players," mechanics, and obstacles - it creates a beautiful and smooth transition from level to level! The fact that it's easy to pick up but can be difficult to master and navigate the scenarios gives it so much potential for further iteration, too! It is easy to envision this prototype extending further, so please continue, if it is something you wish! ^^

Its very hard for your eyes to differentiate between different objects when their color is the same. If it looks like a single object in the game, it will become one! Your own eyesight is your enemy

That's pretty creative! The laser mechanic was a nice touch (I'm kinda fond of lasers too tbh). Maybe there could be a blocker that only prevents the movement of one color but allows the other color to pass through, so you would need to strategize about which block to hit with the laser. Maybe even have a white laser too. Could make for some interesting levels.
Haha the lasers were originally meant to be like paintball guns, to make more sense with the blocks changing color, but the lasers ended becoming a much clearer option. I believe your idea could probably work pretty well too, you could also maybe push inactive colors then. Would definitely become more interesting, so thanks for the suggestion!
Fun puzzle!
I like the look and feel of the game, and the whole premise of moving parts around to reshape the pieces. I especially enjoyed the last level (with the laser and 2 boxes), and I can definitely see this expanded into a full fledged brain melting puzzle game. Good job!
This is a interesting and unique concept for a puzzle game. I'd like to play more levels of this. Keep up the good work.
Very cool game, it's very clever!
At certain points I was about to give up, but I eventually was able to finish it!
Well done for 3 days! Very smart game!
Very fun!
It's a pretty nice unique take on the "combining blocks to form a shape" puzzle, in that only like colors combine. Honestly, I could see this idea of how things attach be expanded on a lot. Maybe you could have some things that allows you to change a blocks texture (like the lasers) so you can make your overall structure larger.
But you could also do the inverse of this, maybe some levels would have random objects in the foreground, that at first just look like decoration. But, if you move your structure behind them, it suddenly makes a line over the structure, effectively breaking them apart into 2 pieces (or more).
Could be a very cool idea..
You introduce mechanics well, without any text explanation and just a simple puzzle to show how things work, which I think is good puzzle design.
Intro sequence was cool, nice referring back to the title.
Visuals are also nice and clean.
Good job!
Thanks so much for the extensive feedback! Really appreciate you took some time to think of additional features too.
I'll definitely try to expand on the concept, and if I can use shapes that are larger than just 4 squares, then ideas like your splitter would be a really fun addition to spice up the variety. In the same breath you could also make half/half blocks that have two colors where they each attach to a different color.
Before I rattle on, yeah just thanks for leaving something extra!
Nice game! I’m not sure how well the game fits with the limitation, but I thought the puzzles were cool.
This is really nice to play, it's not often I see a game basing itself on visual trickery to work, this is a really nice game!
Pretty fun game! Interesting use of limitation there, Neat art and sound!
