Hi, we’re looking for a programmer to help us release this game on time. You’ll be working in a GitHub repository with two other people and several artists.

Ideally, you:

  • use Linux (but don’t worry if you don’t)
  • know Godot 3.5 and GDScript (we’re not using GDNative)
  • don’t mind installing Python >= 3.9
  • have familiarity with the command line and Git
  • have a GitHub account
  • have Discord

If you’re all or some of these, join us here (this is a Discord server!) If you join, please be nice.

Great game. I love the concept of having your previous movements be your enemy.

I was in the randomizer mode, which didn’t let you try full screen. I’ll try again later!

I was using Firefox on Linux/X11.

Amazing game, and I enjoyed the use of the limitation!

I put key icons so the player would press them to figure out what they do, eventually solving the puzzle. However, I will take this into account for the next game. Thank you!

Nice game! I’m not sure how well the game fits with the limitation, but I thought the puzzles were cool.

I thought the game was fun. Here’s my (rather monochromatic) canvas:

Fun colouring game. Sorry about the painting, Lusaka.

It was the blue character, and I believe it was the second level (it had a “+” made out of white enemies).

I thought the game was neat, but the whole “pooping rainbows” thing threw me off a little. (The axolotl seems to break their neck a lot, too.)

Good game, though.

I thought the concept was fun, but I worry about the accessibility of this game. (I also had a hard time reading the font you used!)

Cool game. I thought the wall jumps were fine. Fits the limitation perfectly, and the art is great. Well done!

I thought the game was quite hard, but I’m admittedly not great at bullet hell games. Well done!

I thought the concept was pretty neat.

It took me a while to realize that I had to interact with the lever to open the gate, but one I figured that out I thought the game was pretty fun.

I liked the concept.

The art style was great, and the game looks pretty polished!

The game was quite difficult. The game is super clean though, and the concept is really nice. Good job!

Fun minigame, but I’m not sure how the limitation is applied.

I thought the game was lovely, but I can’t find my paddle. It seems to be off the screen. Nonetheless I enjoyed the drug trip.

The limitation is in the storyline, but I felt like it should’ve been in the gameplay. However, the game was really nice, and I liked the artstyle and puzzles.

Loved the art and sound, and I thought the concept was quite good. Great game!

I thought the game was nice, and the controls weren’t too bad. I liked how you could select different characters.

I ended up getting stuck in a place where the only exit was a 1-high hole.

This is a really nice game with cool graphics and music. However, I thought jumping was a little awkward. Nonetheless, well done!

You need to use gzip encoding :(

“Unable to parse Build/WebGLBuild.framework.js.br! This can happen if build compression was enabled but web server hosting the content was misconfigured to not serve the file with HTTP Response Header “Content-Encoding: br” present. Check browser Console and Devtools Network tab to debug.”

Your game is broken! Make sure to use gzip compression.
