This is a super fun game.
To me, the best play was to start safe (building stairs, getting back to the base) until I got to the yellow coins. Then, I would always go as deep as possible and get as much resources as I could and die, respawn with half resources, buy whatever I can and keep doing that until my battery was enough to get the drill machine. Then I got to the end of the game and killed the boss!
I don't have much feedback to give other than maybe a better visual feedback when you hit enemies, but to be honest I'd always avoid them because it wasn't worth to kill them anyway (AFAIK). The drilling experience was super fun, and it's nice that we have to be clever about our digging in order to prevent getting trapped. The powerups make sense, and the music is an absolute blast. This is a really solid entry, great job!
thanks dog. You are correct, killing enemies is only worthwhile in defense as you don't get anything for killing them
Cool concept, but a little bit unfair when spawning enemies, because they seem to appear from literally nowhere, and they ambush you, i don't know if that was on purpose to make the player stay alert
they actually spawn in pockets in the earth at the time that the world grid is built
Cool game! It really feels finished and not really a jam game (which of course is NOT a bad thing). The music is nice and gameplay is fun, but the one issue that kinda makes the game too easy is that in the browser version, you can simply refresh the page and you'll end up back at base with all the resources you gathered.
Other than that, the game is pretty nice!
i defeated the monster and got what i think is lower than i’m supposed to be, and then i accidentally pressed ‘E’ … and now am stuck in perpetual freefall!
or i would be, if the game weren’t cheeseable! at first i thought there was great challenge in finding my way back to the base, but then i realized that refreshing the page maintained my inventory and other state but plopped me back at base. no more lost resources!
I saw that same bug in Primy's video. I have forgotten the face of my father..
I be doing video feedback, I tend to be ramble-y but still its nice to see how far someone gets and what they do!
my man I'm gonna stream tomorrow and do a react to this but I'll tell you right now, duplicate players is an insane bug I haven't seen before
I'm just a bug magnet it seems haha!
I'll do my best to catch the stream tomorrow!

Great game, very fun and addictive! When I realized, I had already played for several minutes haha...
I had a lot of fun, good job!
Drilling games are super addictive and satisfactory. Maybe I would put power-ups on the way instead of purchasing them (which feels like too much work), otherwise impressive for a weekend!
This was really fun (and the soundtrack slaps) but after you play a while, especially with the more powerful gun, it becomes really hard to maintain a route back. I was trying to be careful but accidentally destroyed a block in my return route and softlocked myself. A jump upgrade might help with that? Overall really nice though!
I added a jet pack at the top of your jump that drains the battery at roughly double the rate of the laser. Give it another go!
That actually helps a ton, makes it feel a lot more forgiving with destroyed blocks and some of the pits that turn out to be much deeper than I thought. I just went looking for the bottom of the world for the heck of it and found there's actually stuff there. A lot of jam games feel rough around the edges but this one really feels like a complete game!
Did you unlock the drill machine? No one has really mentioned it yet.
I did! I unlocked it and decimated most of the map before I found the monster at the bottom of the world. It took me a second to figure out the controls but it was a lot of fun just destroying everything with it!
Breaking blocks is so satisfying! Reminds me of Motherload!
Everything about this is a 10/10 for me
