Use of the limitation
I wanted to incorporate the limitation without having a specific time limit or timer, so I use a hunger meter as a timer where time can be increased by eating flies with the frogs stretchy tongue.

Really cute idea & execution! I really like moving the tongue as it has a very nice movement and satisfying sound, Maybe decrease the speed of the tongue as I found it hard to control (even though it was very fun as I already said :D)

This is a nice concept! I wish the tongue was sticky across it's whole length and not just the end, but i guess that would make it a little too easy

Very challenging! Maybe it would help if the whole tongue was able to stick to flies, not just the tip?

I really enjoyed the looks of this game and how nice the tongue curves and looks. However, the controls does feel very tough as the tongue moves too fast etc, and is quite hard to visualize. Only managed to get 5 flies rip.

Love this. Contrary to below, I actually prefer the tongue controls as they are - feels reminiscent of other games that use the controls as the main challenge, like I Am Bread or Octodad. I wish flies either spawned more often or gave more fullness, just to facilitate higher scores, but overall I really enjoy the game.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Silly controls in games like the ones you mentioned were definitely an inspiration. I made the flies not restore too much stomach meter so that the game would have more a time-limited feeling to it. I also didn't want the game to wear out it's welcome as it's quite simple and silly.
Excellent game idea. I think A1exdV is correct in that the tongue following the mouse cursor would be a better control system. However, the current system does give a high skill ceiling to shoot for haha.
Thanks! When I originally used mouse controls it felt too easy and less fun to play. I settled on wasd because it felt sillier and added a kind of learning curve to the game, so I'm glad you felt similarly.
A good idea for a game. I really liked the sounds.
The control seems a little inconvenient, probably controlling the direction of the tongue with the cursor would be better.

From this point of view, this change really turned out to be right. The flies are harder to hit so the game seems more interesting!
