Use of the limitation
We created a set of dungeon themes (Dreamy, Forest, Ocean, Rainbow and Sweet) which all start off as nightmare rooms, you have to clear out the rooms to restore the theme of the dream to them. The dungeons are randomly generated as well as the enemies within the dungeons, in the final boss room the child is randomly generated from a set of features to represent the child having the nightmare.

A nice concept! Took a bit long to long (downloadable version), but i think that my slow PC's problem... But a very fun game :)
Cool concept, turning enemies to friends with heart beams. I also didn't expect there to be an upgrade shop! I liked it!

I loved the variety in this game, it was awesome to see different levels and music for each playthrough, so that was a great use of the limitation! The main gameplay was also great, I loved the fact each dungeon was different, and the different hats really added to the replayability too, so that was a good feature to have added! The only bug I encountered was that if you clicked fast enough (i.e. fast enough to make your finger hurt) then you could shoot the boss out of bounds, softlocking you since it couldn't be killed - though that's less of a problem of the game than it is of my desire to shoot lots of bullets! Besides, I loved the graphics, particularly how the colour palette changed from nightmare to normal, and the menu art was very well done too - it gave the game personality - so nice work on that! It was a fun game overall, so good job on making it!
That's a lot of work in visuals and music, it's nice
but I couldn't get any coins and after killing the boss and clearing everything - there was no end and no way to die.
also doors lead to the wrong places sometimes. Confusing
But with this fixes, I think it will be a great game!
Aww, so cute, everyone just wants a bit of love :D Although it was a bit hard for me in some dungeons. Also didn't get to the bosses as well.
visuals and audio are great, the game design isnt quite there. Spawns are a serious problem, shop mechanic is great idea though i never got a chance to use it as i was given so many bad spawns and died instantly.
Awesome art and music! The only problem is that as soon as you enter a room you're instantly surrounded by many enemies before you can even look at what's going on, you should've added some sort of cooldown for enemy activation, or at least let the player prepare for what's coming. Also being able to shoot without cooldown is a bit overpowered, but overall very nice game!

I love it! I love the concept and the gameplay! I do wish that the doorways locked after entering a room, but otherwise incredible. Great work!
The changes in music were great and the two-state enemies were nicely rendered. I loved the color choice and variant themes, it's an interesting take on the limitation. You even pulled off a boss and some light narrative elements too. Nice work!

Really good looking game, the whole heart concept is so cute, but the game is much harder than it looks.....Great job!
Good game, kind of a issac like gameplay, I love the asthetic, fought a dino boss X) 10/10 ! the idea of changing the nighmares into dream is really in the theme :D
I like the concept of turning the enemies into non-nightmares! Also how the music changed to go along with that. I hope in the future there's a prompt to go in the doorways because I kept accidentally going in them and wondering what was happening. Really cool game though!
