This was a great challenging game! The goal is to survive 3 minutes, and everything, even including your missile, is trying to kill you! Fortunately, with your superior dodging skills, you may or may not be able to evade the enemies and use your missile to take them out in the process. The music and the graphics were beautiful, were a good motivation to get through the game. Great job!
At first I thought it was impossible to survive for 3 minutes given how the missile is faster than the player, but then I realized it was possible to utilize the player's greater maneuverability. Moving around in this game feels more like a graceful dance with your missile as a partner than like a frantic chase, and the music reflects that.
The graphics are beautiful, too.
One thing I don't like is that enemies don't telegraph when they're going to shoot and in this game that's important because you often have to swim close to them in order to lure your missile into them. I'm not sure how it would be telegraphed best, though...
Also, I think the player's hitbox is too large. It might be more fun with a few more enemies but a smaller player hitbox.
i really like the graphics, but the controls where a bit difficult for me to grasp. since i believe we are underwater, having the character continue moving once key is released, and gradually slow down, would make a little more sense, and possible to follow the cursor as a movement (in my opinion)
Nice color palette and music. Cool graphics. Appreciate the enemy variety!
The Resident Evil-style control scheme was a bit too hard for me to use effectively. I kept wishing I could just move up, down, left, right, using the orientation of the screen.
This is a small point, but the Game Over appeared tiny on my screen. I think it isn't scaling properly.
cool concept. the self-seeking torpedo is also a unique addition to the game. unfortunately, i did not see any advantages of using the torpedo as I can just dodge all the enemies until the timer goes out.
Thank you for your feedback! my friend actually pointed that out to me right after I launched the game... but I'm planning on doing an update to where it's endless and score-based instead.
The self-homing missile mechanic is original and well realized. The art in the game is a clever take on deep sea life and the game feels tight and polished. Really nice work!
The art and music is really cool. The controls are weird and I really didn't understand the concept until I read the description in the game page. Oh, and concept is good
Thanks so much for your feed back!! I'm planning on putting a how to play page in the game so there's less confusion
