Really funny idea. I could beat the game but never understood how did I perform a higher jump. Good game overall.

It's hilarious xD I bursted out laughing at the boss. Silly idea and pretty original, good job!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing! Yeah I'm rather proud of the boss.

I really liked the background camera effect! There was a point where I jumped really high and got stuck in the ground.. but other than that it was a pretty good experience!

I love the way you made the background with that 3D effect. I'm totally going to have to learn how to do that.

Developer

Thanks so much for playing my game! what I did was I used one orthographic camera (to render the sprites) and one perspective camera (to render the 3D background). I put the background objects on a new layer. By setting the orthographic camera to depth only and taking the background layer off it's culling mask that camera doesn't render the background and has a transparent background. Then you can take everything off the culling mask except the background on the perspective camera so it only shows the background in perspective mode.

I had a lot of fun playing this, the boss specially, a bit of a bullet sponge but not much to overstay his welcome. Reminds me of high-school and trying to study and someone was making a ruckus.

It's truly annoying when someone speaks in the library, love the concept of throwing books at them!

Awesome job!
