Really enjoyed this, congratulations for achieving this in the time available. The game controlled really fluidly and I enjoyed the character controller and hover/flight mechanics. The sandbox find the crystal gameplay was refreshing and relaxing, and when combined with the on-foot and flight systems the level acquired a sense of scale and verticality that gave a new dimension to the level. Exploration vibes are on point and I think there's heaps of potential for unique level design.

I also really loved the mech design. I do love me some low-poly simple material characters and I think your mech is my favourite out of the jam. Design is awesome, and the animations are really convincing and smooth.

If I had one critical point it might be that while the camera is super dynamic and exciting, the smoothing/acceleration made it a little difficult to aim accurately, so perhaps it could be toned down to give the player better control while in aiming mode.

Awesome game!

Really beautiful vibrant world, great mech design and fluid controls. Sadly must be a bug with my rig combo as the camera spins continuously towards the top right, inside and outside the mech, managed to get through some way and enjoy some parts. But camera only stays if I move the mouse continuously to offset it, thought it could be my controller input but unplugged that and my mouse and it still continues. Enjoyed what I played though! Would love to give it another go!

Controlling the mech felt so good! Great camera control, and both the mech and the islands looked amazing. Awesome game, well done!

Great job!  So much fun. Beautiful work.

Definitely one of the most fun mechs to control out of any in the jam. The feeling of speed when you get all the shards and are blasting between islands is superb. After beating the main levels, I spent a couple minutes just screwing around with flying between different islands and shooting the respawned enemies.

It also had some of the most readable/compelling level design of the jam. I especially liked the more stealth oriented section where you scope out the castle looking area before jumping in with the mech. I accidentally fell down pretty far when I jumped in through the roof and felt like I'd kicked the hornets nest when all the guys on patrol started attacking :) -- I also liked seeing how all the islands fit together.

Visually, the polished greyboxing level components read clearly, and the solid lighting and particle effects help to make the whole thing appealing.

I felt like it was a bit hard to hit the flying guys since the aiming had to be precise, and I was struggling to get the camera to line up a lot of the time. I found it easier to hop out of the mech and hit them while on foot.

Sound-wise, I enjoyed the ambient background noise of the ocean, and the subtle sounds the enemies and mech made. The flying sounds were definitely the coolest.

I hope you end up using this flying/remote controlling the mech mechanic in a full-fledged game in the future because it was a lot of fun to play around with in the levels that you built. Awesome job!

About 5 min in you get the power to fly with your mech! This part is super cool so stick with it to try that part out. It is very satisfying to fly around the level. The mech covering the pilot while they solve puzzles has a lot of potential. Sound helped set the mood, I liked the ambient waves and powerful shots from the mech gun.

The mech is amazing, the animations especially. It's a really cool little sandbox and one I will revisit again. Amazing job!

I loved the fly mode part! It has problems with the camera, It didn't go where you want it to go and gets a little hard to control, I think if the camera rotates orbiting around the mech and has less movement smoothness the problem is solved, the mech animation is very satisfactory! I couldn't finish it because in the second fly part the mech didn't start flying but at least what I played I loved the idea!
