Absolutely beautiful visuals and story! Loved it.
What a pretty experience! I love the narrative: it's simple but but it hooks you. And talking to the cat AI is very nice. Needless to say that the art is stunning!
hello yes where do i submit my application to purchase a star cat
I adore StarCat. I need StarCat in my everyday life. Great visuals and vibe. Good attention to detail. I love the fact that the engine rumble gets louder when you go towards it. 10/10 would play again. Great job!
Great visuals, and pretty cool game! I enjoyed it a lot, even though I have not completed it XD
Nice job really!
The visuals were the best!I really liked the concept too and the use of the limitation.5/5 for presentation
Visuals and atmosphere were spot on. Nice to see shader usage in a jam game. I think if we were able to interact and mess with objects on the ship, perhaps a puzzle to turn off the SSP, it could have brought the gameplay up to the next level. That being said, the atmosphere was so unique, I didn't really care about the lack of gameplay. Loved this.
Thank you for your feedback~
By your comment, I am unsure if you figured out how to turn off the SSP and conclude the game~ but super happy you enjoyed the game either way :D
The graphics are really cool, I loved the mysterious atmosphere of the game!
Thank you, I'm glad it hit something like that~ :)
It's really cool game, graphic is so attractive. I also liked the idea of the game, and the first flight to the star was amazing!
But I would add a similar animation for a flight to the planet, and fix a bug where when flying somewhere, a spaceship passes through another body.
Thank you for playing the game, I'm glad you liked it :D
Yeah, making solar system flight also align the ship was a stretch goal I didn't get around to, sadly - as for the clipping through planets and stars, that's ... hard to fix so I'd probably just hide it with some visual warp tunnel effect instead :p
These retro graphics are just fire. Just looking at these cosmic landscapes is so mesmerizing
Ah, I'm glad that you find the vistas mesmerizing, that's really cool~! Thank you for your compliments, and thank you for playing the game~!
The graphics blew me away, i love the dithering effect everywhere, best game of jam 10/10I'm happy you liked the graphics, a simple dither shader does so much for the aesthetics - separates it from other simple unity game scenes, I suppose? n_n~
I absolutely loved it! The graphics and aesthetic were perfect and the hints of story and background made it very engaging
Thank you for your kind words uwu~
Admittedly, a lot of time was spent on graphics and aesthetics, which kind of shows in the (very) short amount of story that was time left to put in~
A masterpiece
Wow, that's kind of you to say. Thank you~!
I really enjoy the art style, I'm a really big fan of retro/pixelated graphics (my game actually uses a similar art schema) and this nailed it! I really like the shaders that you made.
The dialogue is very fun, unique, and playful (except the Earth Dialogue, which was pretty morbid haha).
The music is also very nice and suits the game very well!
Great job overall and Game On!
I'm very glad you liked the shaders I put in, they were fun to make :D
The music was made by my co-conspirator, I'll make sure they get your comment :)
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment, it made me happy n_n~
