The sprites are so small, but look really good. In the first 20 seconds I lost 90% of my life and was running around the game for the next 5 minutes trying not to get hit, it was pretty terrifying. I love the aesthetic of the game and the gameplay doesn't become boring with the different items and weapons you can get. Great job!
I really love how awesome the sprites look, even at such low resolution :)
Cool and creative entry, as others have mentioned the movement speed was an issue for me. I loved the animations though. Played & rated! :)
The inventory system works quite well once you understand how to equip and use items. I like it. I think the movement speed of the character and the enemies could be slightly faster. The music also gets quite repetitive after some time.
I would have had liked a sprinting button, but other than that it's a cool submission. Good job! :)
Nice game! My dumb self thought the dog was an ally when I first saw it… quickly learned otherwise haha
I was quite hooked, for some reason there was an old school vibe that worked pretty well. Maybe because it was slow. At first I thought there was a bug with the healthpack, but the "tutorial" part for it came later :p A bit more dynamic combats and variety on the backgrounds would have been nice but it's a nice little entry anyway
Good level design and how it introduces new things/mechanics. The art is nice and simple. I did feel that the player was a bit slow but overall a great game
Good attempt at creating a survival horror atmosphere. showing gates or doors between room frames would have made this game more readable.
Nice job, I love some survival horror inspiration! For me, the movement was pretty slow, and a slightly longer hitbox would have been nice, but I know you're probably meant to avoid enemies entirely if you can. Nice work!
Thanks! This comment reminds me that on another jam people criticize player being sluggish, I'm gonna be way more careful on that by now.
