Did you work in a team?
Just me! I had a wonderful time.

Was the resolution a challenge?
Figuring out how to make room layouts interesting and unique was a bit of a struggle given the limited resolution, but including a wide range of objects to interact with made this easier to deal with.

What did you learn?
I hadn't finished a game project prior to this jam, and I figured it would be a good incentive to try and put something together. Obviously it didn't come out quite how I'd envisioned it, but I'm still happy with it regardless and I'm glad I took the chance to participate.

I liked this game, the only thing I noticed was that sometimes I didn't know which way the player was going to turn, but I think that's because I rarely control a 64x64 resolution isometric game. The music was also appropriate for the atmosphere.

I love the music and the graphics. Really fun puzzle gameplay. :)

This is great! I feel like you don't see isometric games done at this scale often—for, well, obvious reasons—but you did a fantastic job with the spritework. The time limit was very generous, which honestly I appreciate, and the puzzles were simple but interesting. (Embarrassingly what stumped me the longest was... figuring out that I needed to enter the code and then # on the keypad, hah. In hindsight: yeah, obviously. In the moment: no thoughts, head empty.)

I think the only things I would've liked to see are a text box or something at the console to tell you how many keys you need to find, and some way to swap iso controls. The one used by the game isn't my preferred and, like, I got through it with only a minimal amount of wall-bumping, but still.

Overall, a fun little game. Congrats!

Nice, crazy how I ran into that same bug as the other commenters, then came here and read about it. Nice art and aesthetics. Map wasn't too confusing to navigate either. A lot of these zoomed in games make it hard to figure out where the player is, but I wasn't having that problem.

Little rough around the edges but I really like the execution of this mini adventure. Ran into the same bug as mentioned by another commenter but I liked the game so much I reset and made sure I beat the game. That seems like a good thing! Thanks for the moments of enjoyment.

I love tiny isometrics… Followd a bit on your development in Pico8’s Discrod server. Great job with the entry… I kind of got stuck (could not move)… had collected 2 keys, had the weight (i think it is a weight…) and was interacting with the black plate thing in the first room (that I don’t know what it is…) and player refused reacting to any futher command… reporting in case this is a bug

Yep, that's a bug. I guess I forgot to test for interacting with the chute after dropping the weight down it. I didn't find anything else during testing, but please let me know if you happen to come across anything else! I'll probably be revisiting this project after the jam

Glad you enjoyed, though ✨
