Did you work in a team?
We had a group of four people helping with various aspects from discussing design to making sprites to programming. It was an extremely fun experience!
Was the resolution a challenge?
Yes! We wanted to make a tactics game which traditionally has a lot of text on the screen to explain mechanics. Using text for most things was basically impossible so it forced us to keep our mechanics as cut-and-dry as possible. I still think there are a couple of menus that aren't completely intuitive, but we did our best.
What did you learn?
We had never completed a fully playable game before so we learned a lot. We became much more comfortable with the Godot engine and had to work through a lot of game design problems to get a fun core loop.
