Too easy, too short, I want more levels! The levels are demonstrating some fun mechanics, I wish there were some levels that prove an actual challenge. I hope you add some more after the jam!
Ha! I wasn’t expected the radial movement, that’s a really nice touch. A fun twist on the SHMUP, it would be really nice to see this expanded with more weapons and power-ups maybe.
Interesting take on a shooter game. Being able to set my own pace as I move from cover to cover was a clever design choice considering the limited screen space in this jam!
I had fun playing it, it reminds be of an old shock shockwave game called Motherload (I think). You managed to cramp a lot into such a tiny space! And the graphics are very impressive, especially since you worked on it by yourself!
It’s very reminiscent of an old DOS shooter, I liked it. But like old DOS games, it was sometimes difficult to navigate because everything looks quite similar. And btw, thanks for supplying a Linux build!
The car controls smoothly and intuitively, but it would have been nice to have more going on like obstacles, themed levels, etc. But I understand there’s rarely time for more in a game jam!
It’s a fun game, it reminds me a bit of a racing game that I forgot the name of 😅 I was a bit annoyed every time I got stuck on a cop car coming from the front.
I enjoyed the upgrades and the formation of the enemy waves. But somehow it froze halfway through the game. Does that mean I’ll remain just a regular Goobus now? :(
It’s a weird little pinball game, and the (square) ball physics are weird. And yet I couldn’t stop restarting the game and just give it one more go. Well done!
I enjoyed the art, and the concept. But sometimes I felt the small screen hampered my ability to beat the bosses, and my lack of skill of course. Overall a nice and professional production!
I love the skill-based gameplay of Snake with the puzzle solving, it makes for a intense but enjoyable experience. I was a bit frustrated sometimes that it’s very easy to run into obstacles on the next screen during the screen transition.
