Felt like a LOWREZ version of many desert trips I've been a part of. Very nice atmosphere, and the landscapes turned out great.

Did you work in a team?
Art and programming was done by myself, the music was made by a friend.
Was the resolution a challenge?
The low resolution was mostly a challenge when it came to using text. I had to scrap a lot of my initial ideas because the text would be too large.
However, the low resolution made generating the backgrounds much easier to manage.
What did you learn?
My goal going into this jam was to experiment with procedurally generating landscapes. I had never done this before and was excited to try it.
An overhead view is created by sampling noise, and then the desert landscape is generated by sampling the overhead view (overhead view is visible from the title screen)
