Very cool game, very good usage of light shader, cool story. Creative game idea. Good work.
I really liked the concept of this game, and am pleased to see someone else using a flashlight as an obstacle! Visually and aurally very well done. The mechanics are on the right path. Not having air control makes landing on swift moving platforms somewhat difficult, though with time and practise it's totally doable. I think the most jarring thing though is the hard camera flip when you change directions.
You have the seed of an excellent game here, and with a bit of polish this will really shine!
Great aesthetics. I liked the movement of the camera a lot. The jump mechanic from the ground started to feel good after trying it for a while (basically you can "chamber" the jump so you only have to worry about releasing). Wall jumping was quite difficult however.
The controls are incredibly awkward (walljump if you press either left or right?) and combined with the lack of clear direction (as far as I can tell there is nowhere to go?) this has to be one of the worst platformers I've ever played. The idea, theme and aesthetics are neat though.
Thank you for playing my game, to some extent.
The wall jump controls are purposely made like that to go through some part of the level (e. g. : "chimenea" toward 2d checkpoint).
As regards the direction : you jump on the oneway platform to be out of reach of the second gard and its torch and then you see the check point on the top left corner of the screen. And then you try to find a way to reach it.
This is a game jam where everyone is welcomed to have fun. I shall recommend you choose more wisely your words when you provide feedbacks to people, for the benefit of everyone. One may think you scorn them and want to feel superior rather than help and support the people who share the same passion as you.
