Simple visuals but really effective. Enjoyed the gameplay here!
Feels like dancing with the arrows XD
Really liked the concept
probably making it into rhythm game could be cool too XD
solid base concept.
some particle effects and some music and you got a stew going
Nice work on making a turn-based puzzle that's easy to understand and play. I was moving around and thinking if there might be a way to avoid everything by just alternating in two spaces, like some bullet-hell hack.
I wonder if there could be some means to induce more panic or cause the player to slip up on one move using bgm and sfx.
Congrats on the game release!
I think the base idea you have here can be expanded and iterated on greatly to potentially make something very cool, but as its now its relatively barebones, do like the little scrimblo character....
The game looks interesting , I hope to see this project evolve past a prototype, because it has so much potential!
the idea is nice but not polished, anyways its a nice entry !
I like the idea! It's fun. However, I would prefer to get a .love file instead of the source code, but that's okay, I can run it.
Sorry, I forgot to rename the .zip to .love. It’s functionally identical otherwise.
I would suggest you make a .love or .exe version you upload, so people can play it easily. You can follow these steps:
Build your game to a .exe file
Source: https://github.com/LazerLars/inLove2d
Make .exe file
https://love2d.org/wiki/Game_Distribution
4.1) copy /b love.exe+yourGameFileName.love theNameOfYourExeFileForYourGame.exe
OR if cmd dont work directly with that command try in powershell, that often does the trick then
x) Or open powershell and run command:
x) cmd /c "copy /b love.exe+yourGameFileName.love theNameOfYourExeFileForYourGame.exe"
Sorry, I forgot to rename the .zip to .love. It’s functionally identical otherwise.
did you reupload a new version, then i will give it a go :)
I’ve uploaded a .love file! Thanks!
Ah nice :D The idea is actually quite orignal :) I wish you had added a "move" blop sound when you clicked around and maybe also a sound when the arrows gets destroyed as well as a destroy animation or paricle. That would really ramp up the experince. When all that is said, i know it a game jam and you most likely ran into the same wall as me, "TIME" :D. In all a nice concept :D
Love the aesthetic these lines give
