Incredibly polished. The movement was unpredictable and I think the sliding should be removed or made very subtle just for the effect. The difficulty should come from the levels themselves. I think mazes would work really well with what you have here.
Cute pixel arts! Sensuous movement!
I feel it's gameplay is too simple. I want more gimmicks.
I'm thinking about doing a post-jam version where I'll expand on the features a bit more, got any ideas for things I could add?
I got the same bug - running love 11 too - but I've seen it during the development of my game and so fixed it pretty quickly. Other than that, it's a really satisfying game! Idk, the sound effects and the screen shaking and fire animations make it really fun to just light them matches. The visual design is pretty cool, minimalistic yet highly readable. It was really hard to place the figure correctly, though - but I guess it's the only element of difficulty in the game, and it's just low friction, and the theme was friction, so I think it's cool anyways :)
Glad you enjoyed it! I tried to make it clear that it was made for 0.10.2 but I should really just make a 11.2 port. I just really don't like that they changed the colour components from 0-255 to 0-1 ;(
Cute! I like the music and the ways you incorporated the theme into your game.
I also was in a two man group with someone who did the music so that's pretty cool too! :D
As soon as I load the game I'm getting an error "sounds.lua:11: bad argument #2 to 'newSource' (string expected, got no value)"
thanks for the bug report, which version of love are you running or are you using the .exe?
EDIT: I believe it may be due to a change in later versions of LOVE, make sure you are using v0.10.2 or try running the .exe
Yep I was running love 11.
