Yes. The temperature of the metal place a huge roll in how well an item can be forged. If the temp is off, the piece will be junk.
Did you (you or your team) do the graphisms yourself?
Yes. Not exactly sure what graphism means but I did everything besides the elements provided by Godot using C#.
Did you (you or your team) do the musics and sounds yourself?
No sound. Not enough time for that.

It's an interesting game, and considering its solo it's well made, but it's also a little ambitious for a solo, developer. The Art is amazing, it fits in the environment, and the character stands out. The rules are a bit harder to understand, and I have had the game freeze on me, if you are planning to continue with this project, I recommend having an interactive tutorial. All in all a job well done.
I really want to understand the mechanics of this!!! I wasn't sure how to successfully make a usable non-junk item haha. What I tried to do was heat it until it was yellow (but not "too hot!") and then hammer it, but it would become unusable when I tried hammer. Do I need to wait longer after taking it off the heat before I hammer it?
Thank you for your feed back. It's all about timing with the heat and hammering. Not letting it get too hot but hot enough and not over working the item with the hammer. Also, the items have hidden difficulties that require higher smith level to successfully create. I've been working on improvement for the game, I will update it in a few weeks.
Would love to see a full fledged game with that concept! I dig that kind of stuff, it's like Fantasy Life but with more care to the crafting part, maybe it could even use some more action from the player when roughing up the item, or maybe you could also assume the role of the shop keeper and give advice or at least see some clients going in and out of your shop. The art is good but I think it could really use some shading. Other than that, if it was ironed out, it could really be some good and addictive experience!

It's a fun game! I liked the visuals, very well put together, including the font. Really reminds of early DOS rpgs. The game mechanics are a bit complex at first, but I liked having plenty of choice of objects to make, and having the messages of what the customers want, put a little pressure which adds to the fun factor. Great job!

Really nice environment and general feeling! Animations on the left were spot-on representative of the actions. Some visual queues and a sweet soundtrack would be nice
I loved the attention to detail of the shop, it felt like an actual blacksmith shop! This will probably sound stupid, but I liked the difficulty of not knowing exactly how to make something, but at the same time some indication I'm on the right track. In my case I would always get "good" on the hammering part, but no clue on the right heat. Overall very fun game.
Nice work! Love the art and the environment you've built for the blacksmith :) It was a bit confusing at first though and I didn't know what part of the environment could be interacted with. Maybe adding an interaction bubble when you're near the materials shelf for example would help?
I love the game! I wish I knew how to play it better but I'm adding it to a collection so I can easily find it and play it again. I love games where I can be a blacksmith!
Fantastic art, beautiful game. I will say some of it seems a bit extra and unnecessary , such as the outdoor garden, which I think took time that could be devoted better elsewhere, such as adding some nice blacksmith "pang" sounds. The smithing mechanic is a little tedious at times, I would maybe swap it for a reaction style mini-game such as the smithing in the fable games. I also got a bug where sometimes my character would just endlessly keep hammering the metal and I could not seem to stop him.
All in all great game and great use of theme!
I physically had to stop myself from playing so I could get back to testing other people's games. Super addicting gameplay loop, was a little confusing at the beginning but I totally got sucked in. Unsure if it should be changed or not, but I was definitely confused at first when the quality of my items wasn't matching the hammered quality. Would also be neat to have more layers to the process for complicated items or little differences in the production process for item types. 10/10 most time I've spent playing a game this jam that wasn't my own.
First of all, let me mention: gameplay and visuals are really nice!
I'd really like to get an in-game tutorial though instead of reading a wall of text at the separate screen. But we all understand, features like that are really time consuming, so if game's quality would drop, it doesn't worth it.
