Hahah, temperature is really key in this game, nice use of theme. It is a basic idea and good game. Nice!

This is cool, there was one issue where you could get boxed in because there were water spawns right by the door.  I'm not sure what I would suggest because that also seems to be part of the challenge?  The fact that you could stop the reduction if you grabbed fuel quickly enough did help this though--you could wait for a stick to spawn near the door and then try to grab it right after the forced water grab.

Yes, it was intended. For the fuel thing, it was initially a bug but then I decided to leave it in as it created more challenge.

Love it! Something about burning things, even in low bit form, is just so cathartic. the art is also great and the pinging sounds remind me of quite a few arcade games. Great job!

Good concept, I definitely think there is more there. I feel like there is some kind of mechanic missing, maybe a reason to cool yourself down so you can go into multiple rooms or something?

I realise that not many people know what the blue thing is,  Probably should have made it clearer.(it is a bubble)

I like the literal, yet creative take on the theme! As a way to improve gameplay, maybe you could allow the player to rotate the flame to allow for more precise and careful navigation around the ice? Nice job!

Developer

Thank You for the idea! I will consider adding it in a post-jam version.

Nice little game, everything seemed to work as intended. A question, was there any difference between the levels? They seemed a bit too similar, I believe you have room there to mix things up. But overall, good work!

A really solid game with an easy to understand mechanic. Well done on making all of the assets yourself, and I love that the game started with a kind of tutorial to ease you into it. Adding a little more variety to the gameplay would help to flesh it out, like maybe adding pools of water that need to be crossed so you have to be a certain size beforehand could be cool, but time constraints in a jam are very real. Could be something to expand on after if you have the time? Overall, great job!

Fits the theme well and I like the look of the fire sprite. A little more variety would be nice, making different level layouts for example or having a larger variety of objects in later levels. Also, adding some background music would have been nice.
