I found the clue, but was not able to solve it.  Maybe I need a sink with another clue in it!  I'm curious to see where you go with this.

Challenging game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the Kenney Jam, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Thanks for playing!

Nice puzzle and the ambient music and sound effects are on point.

The camera shake was too much though.

Thanks for the feedback and playing!

Yes the shake is way too much... Sorry about that.  I'll be adding more puzzles and fixing the shake after the jam.  You'll have to check it out again!

I liked the music in the game, and I liked the responsiveness of the gameplay, everything acted like I was expecting it to. The camera shake was definitely too much for me, especially as it just remained on for a while. I would have preferred (greatly preferred) a different feedback cue for wrong choices.

I liked the puzzle! Wish there was more of the world to explore and puzzles to solve! Great work with sounds like you only had 24 hours to make, it's very well put together!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback!

The camera shake (crypt rumble) was the idea for the curse.  Originally it was going to increment slowly via time to force the player to try and solve the puzzles faster and when making a wrong decision .  This is consistent feedback about the shake :)

I have more puzzles and pickups to help minimize the curse that I'll be implementing after the Jam.  And you'll have to check it out again!  I'm also going to add an option to disable the shake and a meter to show the curse level.  I never thought about maybe making someone sick...

+ Nice use of assets
+ Like the animations

- Screen shake is almost too much - Background music is a bit repetitive
- Could do with more rooms with different clues... after beating the first (I guess only) room I wanted to play more!

Thanks for playing!

I started the Jam late (only had about a day)  and went more for proof of concept.

I have more designs for puzzles that I'll be implementing after the Jam is over.  You'll have to check it out when I update!

I totally will!

Neat game. I failed to get to the end state, but did enjoy frantically running around while the screen shake got worse and worse.

Developer(+1)

Thank you!  Where you able to find and understand the clue?

I did find it but haven't been able to solve it (yet). The shake gives me a bit of a headache after the 3rd wrong choice so I'm taking breaks lol

At what rate did you increase the shake? It felt  linear, so perhaps an exponential increase would allow more playable time before the shake got too intense (if that makes sense). Regardless, really great game. I keep coming back to try to figure it out!

Developer

Yeah the screen shake is really too much...  Originally the curse was going to intensify gradually over time and when you make a wrong decision.  But I ran out of time and was unable to implement the rest of the puzzles.

You are correct that it is linear.  That's a really good idea for an exponential increase!

I also didn't think about it making people sick...  I plan to add an option to disable the shake completely (adding a curse meter to the screen) when I implement the rest of the puzzles.

You'll have to check it out again!

Loved this puzzle game!

Thank you!  I had some more puzzles designed but didn't have time to implement before the deadline.  You'll have to check it back out when I update!
