Challenging game! I included it in my compilation video series of all of the games from the Kenney Jam, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Visuals on this are great!  If this came out in 80s arcades you would be rich!

it is so. .. hard to make such as game in 80s...

The ancestors used Assembly language to make games.

Visuals and sound are very nice. Frustrating when mobs move diagonally and you can just shoot horizontally vertically (Maybe I'm just bad)

Overall nice game!

the game is nice! I struggled with the difficulty regarding to shoot in the direction I wanted.

but the visuals/sound made a great atmosphere :)

The direction of shooting is modified locally. I will upload the change later after the voting period :)

Really awesome submission. The presentation is top notch considering the length of the jam and I thought the way the curse could spread through the population you were protecting if you weren't careful.

I guess my only real critical feedback would be that I think being able to hold down a button to shoot continuously and having the shooting direction be independent of the player movement would be a good change in my opinion (example: wasd controls movement, arrow keys fire continuously in whatever direction pressed). I might only be saying that because I struggled with the difficulty though, so take that suggestion with a grain of salt.

I enjoy the arcade feel of the game. The animation and us of the sprites I well done. Like others have said my difficulty was shooting the last direction you moved. Overall its  fun wave based game. Would love to see it with twin stick shooter controls

Quite a bit of work for a game jam, and well done!

tough game, but a good one, great job on the polishing, I really liked the sound effects as well

Congratulations on finishing something and getting it submitted on time! I felt very constricted by only being able to shoot in four different directions, it would have been nice to be able to shoot on diagonals, or at a cursor. The monsters were surprisingly hard to kill, some visual feedback to them being damaged and by how much would also have helped me a lot too I think.

Great work though friend, enjoyed it!

Nice job on making this in just 48 hours! Really enjoyed the look of the levels in this one - a really spooky atmosphere! The shooting noises are a little repetitive, not sure is Kenney has any more for you to choose from though? Great job!

> The shooting noises are a little repetitive
The sound is somewhere else and I already added random to the pitch, but seem not working very well ^_^.

And thanks for the comment!s
