I spent at least 5 minutes just clicking all the interactible little things on the start screen. So well made - really well done!

Developer

very well done on this one. for my pc it's a bit weak to run that but i can see how many soul u put on that one.

maybe because of my PC, things are seen like glitches like the head of the turtle pushing me to the water sometimes like he doing a breakdance XD

Developer(+1)

Yes, the wiggly bone system we made was a bit hacky so doesn't perform well at low framerates... Sorry about the experience being so poor!

that ok, we can't expect to fix everything in one game jam.

if its playable, and it is, its enough

It is just beautiful to the detail! Really really nice and professional looking game. Congrats!!!

Developer

You are so kind and I will share your words with the team, thank you!

I have few words for this one! I can't believe this isn't on steam! Seriously incredible work. Your hard work really showed. Just perfect, nailed every category & ticked all my boxes! Maybe could have been a bit more jern-friendly (aka easy mode!) but other than that. I just wanna play a few more rounds :D Great work!

Hearing this fills our hearts with pride! I (coffee) am very glad I participated as it showed me just how quickly we can put something together that we feel comfortable presenting.  You are an incredible host and a top notch lad!

I enjoyed playing this game so much but I restarted it so many times and still didn't finish it XD I also found it very hard to control and move the character but that's fine. But still loved this and I'm excited to see where you can go further with it!

Developer(+1)

We struggled to keep the game balanced for all players, but I'm glad to hear you had fun! Thank you!

That was a really fun game to play! I had to restart a few times to get the hang of thing but after the first few rough starts this really played quite well. The idea of going back multiple times to where you started is a fun take on start at the end.

I really liked the building setup you had there, it really felt like there is a lot that could be added to it, like traps of different kinds and what not - like a cold snap that would be a single use block that turns to a wood block after or something, this would give drive to not just have a single straight line to allow multiple enemies to get hit by aoe.

Note to anyone who is streaming playing these games, this game takes up a lot of cpu, so make sure you are on gpu render on obs!

Great work!

So glad you enjoyed the game and apologies for the rough performance! We had a lot of ideas for new enemies and traps and may add these to round-out the game in the future! I will share your kind words with the team

Things I love about this game:

  1. Interactive menu. You can scrab the back of that happy lizard.
  2. It’s just very fine and polished.
  3. The gameplay is innovative - build, expand and go back.
  4. The music great and inspiring. =D

However, I had to read the project description to understand why it’s start at the end. It really is, the point taken.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Yes, we thought that it wasn't exactly clear as to how it's start at the end, but we're very glad you enjoyed it!

So fun and very impressive! The concept art is cool and  well executed.  The animations and detail is cute. The sound is cute,  the ui crazy good. Its easy to learn but layered and has you thinking about your next move and wondering whats to come. Ambitious idea but also great execution. There is something for everyone in this game. I found four lives a bit unforgiving when it came to falling into the water and enemies so I had to go through the same thing all over again when I just wanted to build and explore :)

Developer(+2)

It was originally 3 lives and money was much harder to get! The problem is that the difficulty doesn't scale to the experience of the player. If we were to take this further, I would focus very much on improving the difficulty scaling! Thank you so much for your kind words, I will share this with the team! πŸ’šπŸ€ŽπŸ’œ
