  • Hey there! Wow, this was a seriously well-made game for a weekend. It's a simple concept with an original story that set the scene for a great amount of content you put together. Beyond excellent presentation values like the colour scheme, characters and music , here were a lot of awesome little touches like the path connecting at the end, clouds floating by and little animations that I think really helped sell the warm tone. I loved spending time in the game! A couple of little gripes I have were to do with UX and pacing. I noticed that the starting pieces always had a gap for Blip and Bloop, but this seemed like it either needed to be clearly communicated by the visual appearance or not part of the design at all, as the presentation of these gaps was a little ambiguous / confusing at first. Beyond that, while I appreciated the later lavels' complexity, I felt like this exposed a kind of fatigue that comes from this puzzle style, where the lack of confirmed positive feedback on progress makes it hard to stay interested. You really don't know that you're getting there until you're there, so some kind of extra mechanic or twist that created that confirmation or incentive to keep going would have made this experience that little bit sweeter for me. All in all, there's little else I can say. Seriously impressive stuff. Thanks for the game!

I did not manage to get past level 2 :( the difficulty was too cruel but I like how these aliens move their feet.

Nice game! I like the music and the sprite work for Blip and Bloop! I am curious how they keep getting themselves into such a precarious situation though...

Such a nice take on the theme! Visually amazing and overall feels very polished. Great job, don' t really know what else to say here ... enjoyed this one a lot

Such a cool game. I really like your idea of creating one room instead of having one. puzzles are great and have an enjoyable difficulty.

Developer

Thank you! We figured most teams would have a game within one room so we thought we'd try something a little different. Glad you liked it!

Music was fun, graphics were great-  took me a second to pick up the idea that they were standing on a block already. A simple icon on the piece that indicates where they stand would help get over that issue. Once I understood, it was super easy to spot their standing locations anyway. Great game!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! We will definitely take that into consideration.

Loved the game, the levels were well designed and the art was brilliant and when you put that final piece in place it feels awesome!

Developer(+1)

Good the hear the satisfaction is there. That's the best part of puzzle games imo!

I liked the first few levels a lot. The game looks polished and the graphics are great. The sound effects make moving the pieces very satisfying. The last levels have a rotate mechanic but the texture on the pieces lets you know how to rotate them in the right orientation what kind of defeats the purpose.

Developer

Damn... We were hoping no one would figure that out. The tileset was made before we decided to add rotation into the game. Good eye!

Nice puzzle game, the mechanics are clear and engaging. The art looks good and the characters are funny because of their grumpy look. Good job, I'll remember to rate when they fix it!

Developer

Thank you! Your rating would be greatly appreciated.
