- I absolutely loved this, and spent about 15 minute straight glued to my phone willing this cat higher and higher. The only issue I found was that the trampolines didn't want to work at all, mobile or desktop. A real shame, because I think that's what stopped me going all the way! I did get about halfway there though. It's a real shame there is no hyplay integration that I can see, it's one of my favourites this jam. The art style, colour palette, changing music, and animations all come together to form a really fantastic game. I can see this being released on mobile with minimal effort! Great job 😁
- The presentation of this game is absolutely stellar. The little animations, the colour palette, it's all fantastic. You did a wonderful job there! There is something *like* score chasing, it gives the same feeling, but there's no high score or leaderboards, and no hyplay implementation, so this game isn't eligible for the judged prizes. It has a good shot at being community favourite though, and while it's not really a leaderboard, the distance to the moon is close enough to a score that I'll give it a pass.
How does your game relate to the theme?
You have to get to the moon in ONE SHOT. Can you make it in as few launches as possible?

That was almost the perfect score chaser jam game, but the missing trampoline feature gives the player basically a soft cap on their potential score. After getting all the upgrades there was nothing I could do but launch the cat and hope it hits a boost or something. I think my highest score was around 75k.
An easy way to fix this is to allow much more upgrade tiers, maybe make them endless and just keep increasing the cost? Idk how you could balance that but hitting the power upgrade limit early was a bit disappointing and I really wanted to get to the moon. I also wish I could see the leaderboard to compare my score to others.
Overall though the game was fun and very well made. I had a good time with it even though it was just a bit off from being a near perfect casual browser game
Beautiful! I love this pixel-art style. The sound fx and the musics are as lovely as the arts. The only minor flaw would be the transition between the musics which is very abrupt.
I could not reach the moon at full upgrade :'( But well done!
Apart from the trampolines everything was perfect.
Fun game.
6700! It's a shame that the trampolines are bugged. It's very entertaining, the music, the sfx and the aesthetics are delicious. I didn't know how to play it in full screen, so I had to zoom in on the browser. Congratulations.
This is really cute! As people have mentioned the trampolines do not work except as very low altitudes. I would love to play this again with working trampolines. The art and music are very good.
Absolutely gorgeous artwork, fits very well with the cat theme/style. Love the little detail that the cat always lands on 4 feet 👏 bravo on that, music fits well too. It seems that the trampoline mechanic is bugged out, otherwise it would have TOTHEMOON. also this reminded me of 'meow meow me meowwwww me meow meowww' song 😂
The art and overall aesthetic of this game is amazing.
I really wish that the trampoline mechanic worked properly. If so, I definitely would have shot for the moon!
What an adorable and polished game! The art is super cute, and it’s really satisfying launching with the catapult. I just didn’t quite get how the milk works.
Love the pixel art and the effects with the cat flying through the sky. The intro itself was also really great to motivate why the cat needs to go to the moon lol.
I ran into similar problems where I couldn’t create a trampoline. I could see my milk meter was going down, but didnt seem to create anything that I could tell. Would appreciate any help understanding what I did wrong with the controls, because this game was actually pretty interesting to me. Gave me some nostalgia of the old school internet flash games and the high score chasing they had.
Really cool art and gameplay.
The music is turned up a little loud that it's causing some audio clipping, but I saw the added mute button which made it easier.
Maybe I was doing it wrong, but I wasn't able to add the trampoline under the cat.
Overall it was a neat game idea and execution!
