This was fun. What a great game mechanic.
Thank you for playing. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Ooooh strong Atari vibes with this one! Really good work with the art, and the choice of soundtrack and sounds!
Thank you so much for the positive comments and thanks for playing!
Nice and simple gameplay mechanic although not intuitive at first but very fun and enjoyable to play. The move and shoot mechanics were well designed and integrated together and the grid was very helpful in understanding the movement.
Overall well done the music was pretty loud.
Thanks for your honest feedback. Agree that the music could be too loud. I had lowered the original's sample volume but it looks like it could still be lowered some more. Thanks for playing.
This was really enjoyable!
You could make the game a little faster and with more movements of the "enemy", so is harder to win
Thank you for playing! The AI is pretty much non existent (it just does random moves) so it is too easy to win.
Really well made game. I love game like this and the mechanics are so polished. Thoroughly enjoyed! Great job!
Thank you for the wonderful feedback and thanks for playing.
This was a cool game, like X-Com goes Atari. :) I liked that you could see on the characters when they were hurt, and the grid system made it easy to play. It's also good that you could skip intro on repeat plays and choose side. For the future it would be cool to maybe see the units have different abilities or something that could add more depth to the gameplay. Well done!
Thanks for the feedback. Originally I did wanted to have the three bushrangers have slightly different weapons, then it turned into only ned kelly was to be the special boss with special weapons then I got tired and just wanted to finish the game. Thanks for playing!
I love this take, the mechanics are solid. I accidentally killed one my own guys with a ricochet… :)
That's the best kind of kill :) Thanks for playing.
I like the concept but I'm bad at these kind of games :(
Like the audio and the graphics, it's a really great work ! Played as the victorian police and like the mechanic of "ricochet".
I'm pretty bad too therefore I just watch in observer mode for fun. Thanks for playing.
I really enjoyed this. For me, Ned Kelly and his gang were defeated in 2hrs 45 mins.
Thanks for playing.
This is a fun turn based tactical shooter. I really like the 'line of sight' implementation for the bullets. I played as the Kelly gang first and took cover and easily wiped out the police.
I then switched side and it wasn't too difficult to bring Mr. Kelly into 'custody'.
My favourite was when I tried to shoot one of the gang and the bullet ricocheted off a fence and killed a different guy. NIce touch with the armour deflecting the bullets too.
The simple graphics for the guys are very effective.
Only negative was the music - could you not get somebody to sing "The Wild Colonial Boy" or something? LOL
I'd probably play this again if the AI was improved.
Thank you for playing. Agree with the AI. All it does it picks random moves. I personally spent more time just watching them do stupid moves in observer mode. Not much of a singer have ever heard of "Wild Colonial Boy" but maybe I could give it a shot?
