I don't see how this fits the theme at all, but I am digging the weird retro vibes this game puts off. Feels like something you would have seen on the Jaguar :)
Have you read the story?
Despite looking and sounding like an environmentalist's fever dream, I kind of like the aesthetic here, and the 3D backgrounds behind 2D gameplay works well. That being said, only being able to move on one plane is a bit of an arse, and the connection to the theme is vestigial at best.
I genuinely loved how bizarre the intro was. I want to see more Cobra Chicken. I thought the gameplay was floaty and that made it difficult to evade enemies.
