pretty fun zombie survival. I really like the movement around the small asteroid or planet that your on.
Thanks.
I am trying to fix the mouse sensitivity.
At first I made a mistake and hidden the settings
The first fix was just about to unhide the settings.
The second fix (fix_2) was about to take care of the screen resolution.
Gravity that's not just down but centered to a small planet? Well done! Sadly unplayable even with the mouse sensitivity slider - version as the highest setting was still too slow and had to do too much mouse handling to look anywhere :(
Enjoyed the overall feel, graphics and weapon RMB also music gave emotionn which was fantastic.
Thanks.
Still too slow? Can you give me more info please, cause I have only my PC with Ubuntu to test this.
For example what is your resolution?
The OS you are using.
Is the speed of your mouse pointer slow, fast....
Edit: I ask all this cause Godot even in 3.1 contains a problematic mouse motion input. For example speed is wrong and I had to use relative position. I have created a github issue that is almost 2 years old but there is no fix for this. I will try to use the screen resolution for the mouse sensitivity. This will probably solve the problem.
Fix 2 is up. Hope this works as expected.
Can you tell me please, if the last fix (fix_2) was alright for you?
Mate, you fixed it indeed! I would say the top sensitivity could be even faster, my gaming mouse at the max sensitivity was just right.
A fun game by all means, well done! I would have liked a planet with more visibility, perhaps higher FOV or a bigger planet would do the trick there.
Thanks for testing again, in the end I just made the max value of the slider bigger.
I haven't tried bigger FOV. I kept the default 70.
I tried different size of the planets, but size turned out to be something like a level of difficulty. Cause the bigger planet, the easier to deal with the line of following enemies.
I know what you mean, it becomes easier knowing where they're coming from with a bigger planet, at the same time helping new players... oh I know!
You start on a bigger planet and after every wave the planet shrinks.
Yeah the max value was much better the second time round, I'd even times it by one a half tbh.
I like the idea and I like the landscape, but I needed options for mouse sensitivity. It was way too low for me. I couldn't turn quickly enough to deal with the threats.
Kudos for doing a 3D game.
Thanks.
I had created settings for mouse sensitivity but when I was about to upload the game, I hidden them to take the screenshot for the itch.io page and I forgot to make it visible again when I uploaded the game. It was too late at night and I was too tired and I had to sleep.
I will change the downloadable after the the rating.
Lesson learned...
I uploaded the fix. Hope this is not a disqualification for the Jam.
No worries a fix like this is fine.
I'm not sure if it's a problem on my end, but the mouse sensitivity is unplayably low. Which is a shame because this game looks awesome! The gravity mechanic is totally unique and I'd love to try it.
Thanks.
This was a last minute mistake, settings for mouse sensitivity was there.
I deserve all the blame.
I uploaded the fix. Hope this is not a disqualification for the Jam.
