Mac version is damaged and can't be opened :(
Im sorry, I couldnt test it on Mac.
No worries! Just thought I would let you know
I really dig this aesthetic. my only complaint is that the sound of the engine got a bit grating after a while. and like someone suggested, a speedometer would help with the sense of speed.
the terrain is so cool, how did you make it? I love how the mountains look so stylized up close, but they actually have a decent amount of detail when seen from far away — it’s a neat result!
Thank you. The terrain is a mesh from sketchfab. But I made a heightmap from it and generated this one using Terrain3D to make it more performant. The pixels up close and details from afar is just an unfiltered terrain texture scaled like x300 : -)
that’s awesome, thanks for explaining!
Super solid job, very nice concept. Nailed the theme. The engine's sound is too loud during dialogues but overall is pretty good during the storm. The map is amazing as well as the model of the car. I found all the endings, gg!
I really like the design of the car, also I appreciate the self righting mechanic - used it plentiful. Now I'll get to live till 80 with my faithful metal steed :)
Oh you made it to the 3rd ending! Good job, not everybody could do that
Even though i kept trying and trying to get the second ending but somehow kept failing i wish i couldve gotten the second ending but nontheless this gave me a cold creepy feeling the how it gets misty and such, i can see a lot can be done to get the game even further! ty for the experience and i hope you keep going mate!
Thank you for playing and such nice words!
Did 2 endings. Not sure if there are more than this :D I enjoyed air time, as i was driving for my life. And I REALLY like the car's aesthetic. It reminded me a bit of the Carmageddon-style insane designs.
Third ending is kinda hard to find. If you noticed the bridge, you have to drive over it to find the third ending.
Well executed, I liked it a lot, only thing is thats hard to tell if your going fast or slow, it seems that while climbing the speed gets reduced which makes sense but it isnt very noticeable, maybe adding a speedometer as UI would help. Good ambience with the sfx aswell.
Thank you. Thats an interesting advice, never thought abt that
nice car driving mechanics, tho it gets stuck at the beginning. kind of tough to reach the checkpoint in time with not much to do apart from driving.
