Really fun, love the idea.

The music is really beautiful. I can't play the game because the mouse sensitivity is too high and it makes me nauseous, it needs to be turned way way down! Doesn't fit the "can't stop moving" premise and I'm not sure if it brushes on its own or if there's a key I need to press? I think the idea is compelling, and I hope you keep working on it after the jam because I think this game could become very good especially with the gorgeous piano music.
The gameplay loop seems interesting, the only issue I have is that the painting mechanic seems really inconsequential. I know it affects the amount of points, but that's only if you kill enemies while there is pink on the screen and the points don't really matter to me anyways. Maybe it would be cool if the paint acted as a sort of defense that slowed enemies down or hurted them?
Beautiful game. The levels I played were well-laid out.... once I learned that I had a double jump. I wish that was taught to me in the beginning, as it made me better understand what the game wanted me to do once I figured it out! Overall clever idea, and I enjoyed watching the ink trail behind me. :)
I think the next step for this game would be letting the "paint" blocks spawn immediately instead of after I let go of left click. The way it is now, I need to plan my platforms far in advance in order to not die. It also would be cool for the player to not die on their own drawn "paint" blocks, maybe instead they can ride along it like it is a smooth arc instead of stairs.
Interactive music? A dev after my own heart :,) <3 <3 <3
I played this game for a lot longer than I thought I would. It was really exciting to draw just the right line to send my ball flying.
My one gripe is that it is pretty much up to luck whether you speed up or slow down. If triangles happen to spawn in your trajectory, then you rocket across the stage which feels joyous! But if those weird scraggly things just so happen to spawn right in front of you... well, you're shit out of luck. This was especially disappointing because I could never live long enough to hear the full song, which REALLY bums me out!
Overall, fantastic job with the music, and double triple mega points for the interactivity! The fun factor is off the charts as long as I happen to get lucky (which is not often enough!) My suggestion would just be to remove those scragglies entirely, because there's no strategy to avoiding them. Let me fly!
This shocked me by how addicting it is. The controls are simple, but the way to utilize the paint shot is so versatile. I played in infinite mode, and my favorite feeling was when I skyrocketed past someone and managed to noscope them on my way back down, or when I positioned a shot to get someone just offscreen and heard the satisfying success sound as i continued upwards. I played on the web version and it worked perfectly fine! Amazing work.
