Game Description
Try to escape the space station with all of your wires intact. Platformer.
How does your game tie into the theme?
The robot is trying to ESCAPE the space station. Other seemingly identical robots are held captive and experimented on.

This was a very cool game. Nice environment and music and graphics where very good. Having a good feel of a retro game. Difficulty was well set up. Although the third level was a bit difficult.

This was a fun, tight platformer. Really great work on the sprites and environment. I would have loved a little more variety with the enemies, and the keyboard/mouse controls were a little frustrating with "up" as jump. I would also tweak the difficulty curve just a bit, as it gets chaotic near the end.

Thanks for the feedback! Def want to add some more to it. Sorry about the controls! I thought those would work well because I could hit all of them without stretching my fingers and without needing my mouse hand. But you aren't the first person to say that, so I can make that change. The settings menu does have keybind options if ppl want to rebind their keys (open with ESC)

I did have a flashback to my childhood playing MegaMan in the SMES :D
Controls are very tight, just moving around the character is fun and the art and music are very nice and remind me to those 16bit classics which is always a good signal.
I just miss some variety, in mechanics, enemies and surroundings.

I tried your game, I don't know if it's because you lacked time but here are my remarks. It's quite frustrating to fight against flying ennemies, I wanted to go as fast as possible thanks to the dash and I had to wait for them to go down enough so I could shoot them, maybe if we were able to freely aim it would have been better. You could have added traps to force the player to jump: I just went right and it was fine. The soldier nether it the player. And finally, I reached the end of the level but it seems that there was nothing to indicate it.
I would guess that you lacked time, but there was a good foundation to make a game.
