Cool game, I like the concept of the pachinko and battling monsters.
Cool use of collectables too.
I think this game could benefit with a faster gameplay loop and maybe some margins on the side so that the balls don't get stuck every once in a while.
Nice work :D
Did the game got removed?
I think it was just accidentally hidden for a bit... ๐ฌ
It should be available again now. Hope you have a chance to give it a go!
It's a shame there isn't anything done in time!
Oh no! I'm not sure what happened, I think the visibility accidentally got moved to restricted when some screenshots and such were added...
It should be accessible again now!
Really cool I love the limited days mechanic! One bug: When I died it said to get back out there but there was no way so I just lost all progress and I was at the last 8 days.
Thanks! I thought it was a good way to give some pressure and finality to it, glad that mechanic has been received well.
Ah, damn! So sorry about that. Somehow that button got positioned off the screen. So frustrating! ๐
Cool take on the pachinko game. Cool intro. Fun to play. Music is nice but a bit repetitive. Physics is good, you made sure to not let the balls get stuck. Could have had a few more different boss sprite. Breakable crystals are cool cause they give you energy, but also gives you ways to reach the bottom faster when you destroy them.
Unfortunately, had a bug that the game didn't return to the trading post after losing a fight. Would have liked to play it more.
Thanks for giving it a go! I really appreciate the mix of feedback.
Yes, damn that oversight... ๐ Sorry about that.
Very cool spin on Plinko! This game was pretty fun, so I'm surprised it's not getting more love.
Like below, I also got stuck after dying.
I also was pretty shook at the jumps in difficulty, but I guess I should have went and made sure I had all the next tier upgrades, haha
Thanks for the kind words!
Yeah, a bummer of a mistake ๐ Sorry about getting stuck there.
The difficulty could definitely use some tuning, to put it gently ๐ I always seem to give myself too many knobs and never get around to dialing them in in time.
This was really cool! It's always interesting to see how people can take "simple" mechanics like Plinko and use them to make something entirely different (Like that one roguelike, Peglin, that did a similar think with Peggle). Putting the player on a timer, then having everything, including going to the shop, take days away from that timer was a smart decision. It actually makes deciding what to do meaningful.
Also, after I died I got stuck on the screen telling me I was being sent back to my ship and that I had lost a few days. I'm not sure if there was a confirm button or something that was hidden (or I missed), but I couldn't figure out how to progress from that screen after that.
Thanks so much for giving it a go! Yeah, I liked the idea of having to push your luck a little to amass more money before visiting a shop, glad it came across well!
Yeah, unfortunately it seems the button to advance you past that page somehow got relocated off the screen :( Sorry about the trouble!
