I love the double wordplay of curse as magical art and as insult. The gameplay was great, too! I could also envision a lot of ways to make certain tiles worth more, thus encouraging more creative words.
The audio and visual presentation was cutesy and fun, too.

I'm glad your team got it up and running, this game was a hoot! I think one thing that would be a great improvement would be the ability to use keyboard controls for navigating all of the menus so I don't have to take my hands off the keyboard. Some of the insults from the enemy were hilarious. My favorite was "You couldn't spell AE if I gave you all the letters!" Dang it, Belladonna, you're right.

Thanks for playing! We have a bunch of ideas to expand it as a mobile game if its well enough received, like powers to change the letter pool, more variable AI, possibly a tournament setting, a local coop mode, online leaderboard, etc

Unfortunately the game would not run for me after the load screen. Using Windows 11 here. I like the concept and the music though!

I like the idea and the wizards look great but I couldn't get the game to work on my computer (Windows 10). After pressing the any key to continue, the loading hourglass appears, then flickers, then what looks like the dialogue scene is loaded (blue bar along bottom of screen). However no text is there and no buttons do anything except the return key which just makes what I'm assuming is the "incorrect" noise.
Just letting you know in case its a bigger Windows issue rather than an issue with my computer.
I am also unable to open the game for Mac. After unzipping, the game is unable to be executed.

Yep. sure does - fun game!
Really cool idea to make scrabble combat. Its a nice touch to add the word to an insult when complete instead of just having the word be the curse. Although the (medium) AI seems to like playing 2 letter words which can make the insults a bit odd sometimes.
