I love the intro “You were a fierce warrior but now you’re dead” hahaha this gives me some kind of Elder Scrolls vibe.

Very cute visuals, I love it! It reminds a little bit of Secret of Mana on some aspects. I also really like the fading/health bar mechanic, really clever. You also introduced multiple levels of complexity one at a time throughout the game.

The only annoying thing I noticed was the fact that you had to smash the arrow key multiple times to move. I know it’s because movements in your game have to be precise and calculated but maybe you could add a timer to your input when the player keeps the key pressed for a certain amount of time, it moves automatically!

In the end, really cool, congrats for your first submission! :)

Although it is not my type of game, I found it entertaining. It has a very simple and well used mechanic that allows you to concentrate on the puzzle.

I liked the "think outside the box" type of puzzles you had in the game, the controls worked well but there should really be the ability to leave the movement keys pressed to auto move in that direction because it became very bothersome to keep pressing for every step when so much movement was required. There was a nice pace in difficulty between the levels to.

Very good little puzzle game. I think the detail of having loose health to be able to go through walls is very cool. I might use that in the future!

Huge congrats on your first successful gamejam !

Game was pretty clever, you got me good on level 6 :) There's a nice progression between levels, as mechanics are introduced at a very digestable rate. The theme was smartly integrated.

Small pointer for gamefeel, I would have liked being able to keep the key pressed when moving in a single direction. I didn't really like a few of the later levels, they felt a bit easy after level 6. Level 10 was neat and shows how this mechanic can be implemented in more complex levels.

The game felt complete with a small story, very accessible well explained controls, and a main menu. That's no small feat, be proud !

Lack of audio was not an issue for me, I prefer nothing to poorly implemented / uninspired stuff, and this kind of game doesn't really need audio anyways. Rated the audio 3 stars for this reason.

For the controls, what's missing is the ability to keep pressing the directional keys! This would allow you to move faster or just not have to spam the move button.

Otherwise I really loved the mechanism of taking damage to unlock a movement option! It's very ingenious.

A clean learning curve, you learn the ghost mechanics correctly

I just realized that you can pass the maze easily by going through walls after losing HP xD.

Love seeing puzzle games, and thought you had a really cool mechanic with the fading allowing you to go through walls, but also being dangerous. I liked the switches too. Nice job on your first entry!

Great first GWJ entry! I enjoyed playing to the end and was quite surprised with little cutscene.

Level 5 was definitely the best, amazing how quick we forget what we just learned. Add some audio, and some more levels/mechanics and you've got a complete game. :)

You got me on that last level with those red herring alright. The total lack of audio is forgivable. To valhalla!

Great puzzle game. I'm ashamed that by level 5 I had already forgotten the lesson from level 4. Once I remembered that, it was clear sailing. Fun!
