Mechanics were broken! Nice idea though
I liked the character design, but unfortunately the controls were pretty challenging. The character moved somewhat sporadically, and the arrow keys are on the same side as WASD on my keyboard, which made the key layout somewhat challenging.

I'm confused, did the other comments play the same game as I just did? :|
The character would zip across the screen, sometimes through walls but sometimes stop on invisible obstacles, seemingly independent of my inputs.
With no jumping I would end up at the bottom of the level within seconds with no way of getting out? I could not tell if my gun damaged the big jar enemy down there and my bullets had such short range that I could not reach it unless I zipped back and forth across the room. I restarted twice because I couldn't tell if I was stuck or not and last time I randomly zipped into a room on the side where there were a few locations I could change the gun. With no limit on fire rate and enough range I could spam little red waves on the jar and suddenly it died? So I won?
I did quite like the rubber hose/cupheady sprites, and the level seemed pretty complex and interesting but with no real way of traversing it? I was very confused about the controls. :0
there are secrete passage ways u can wallslide and dash. Sometimes the bottom of players hitbox hits the top of the wall collision and freezes. For a second but the goes back to normal and as for damage i did not really get a chance to add any indicators because it was last minute the players hp is indicated by the light anyways hope u enjoyed the music and art at least
Great game, the dungeons and maps fit the theme quite well. Lots of mechanic and quite an awesome game!
The art, especially the 'glitch' for shift was great. Experimenting with that mechanic was fun. I could not get to the goal, but had fun playing.
the character felt a little difficult to control for me. it would sometimes glitch-wallslide through walls / through the ground. i don't think i understood the gun upgrades, or what i was supposed to do. nice music (although a little intense, hah!) and visuals!
there are secret passage ways and each gun has a unique property the added to the barrel
