Super chill vibe, I enjoyed it. :) I did notice a jittering effect as the screen is scrolling? Might be related to Godot pixel/viewport/2d but I'm not sure, haven't much experience with that stuff. Well done on your first GWJ!

Developer

Thank you! I'll make sure to look into the issue.

All of the gems were much easier to find than I initially thought and the path doesn't contain much (or at all) deadends, making progress never really wasted. Though I think it'd be better if the gems were a bit bigger.

Thank you for playing and giving feedback!

Simple game, but works well. The collectable upgrades add a nice bit of variety to the game. It would be fun to get a couple more speed upgrades. 😄

Simple, but well done. As other's have said, the look is very coherent, my only criticism would be that the text boxes seem a little "out of style".  Maybe try experimenting with different fonts and rounded corners? Might just be a matter of different subjective tastes though!

Nice work. :)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! And I definitely agree. UI was done in a bit of a rush so I might revisit it after the jam.

A very fun experience and a soothing ambient BGM, love the pixel art. The powerups add a nice touch to liven things up a bit. Great work on the jam game.

Thank you!

The game is well made. I found the overall experience to be very coherent. The music sets a serious tone for the quest, and along with the timer, creates the right amount of tension. (The timer power-up says 30 seconds, but looks like only 15 seconds are added to the clock) Good game overall :)

Developer

The power-up only adds 15 seconds to the timer, though it used to add 30. I simply forgot to fix the text. Thank you for the positive feedback!

Nice game for your first jam. I think adding obstacles or traps can make the game more fun and challenging to play.
Anyway is really cool to have the speed boost and extra time power-ups.

Developer

Thank you for the suggestion, I think it would fit well into the game!

Nice simple game, a bit hard finding everything but that's the challenge. Found the background music to be perfect with the game's atmosphere, great job!

Developer

Thanks a lot!
