Eek, my nemesis - a platform with lots of jumping and time pressure! I've not got the patience for this time of game - but that's my problem!
Well done on your first GWJ entry! Every submission is a great achievement
Thank you for the review and giving it a shot anyway! <3
I love the art. The jumping feels a little bit hard to intuitively estimate where you will land and I think the difficulty is indeed quite hard. But besides that I have no real complaints.
Thank you for the review!
Definitely a little spoopy! But then actually pretty scary when you think about it, haha. Nice simple platformer, well done on your first GWJ. :) I would probably second the comment about some unforgiving platform areas.
Thanks for the review! Yeah, the difficulty issue is caused by not enough playtesting I guess. Good lesson for the next time ;)
Nice game
I like the minimalistic design of the game.
I just hope there was music or sfx to make the game feel more alive
also, this video contians some tips
Thank you for the review! There is music, but sadly As it was my first time working with godot at this scale I neded to spend some time learning it and haven't had enough time to reasearch sfx. The video has some good points.
I hope you liked it :D
Congrats on finishing your first game jam. This was my first one completing as well. I don't see any bugs, which is great! My only complaint is that there are some places where it's very hard and unforgiving. If you miss a single jump in some area's then you are going to loose, but that actually causes a drive to want to play again to get further through the maze.
Thanks for the review! I made sure every level is completable and 1 or 2 small mistakes are recoverable, I might have missed some routes since some levels have a lot of possibilities where to go. I guess I'll need to budget more time into playtesting next time.
Very good take on the wildcards! It was easy to know what to do based on the graphics.
Thank you for the review! I was planning on adding some arrows at the beginning, but actually ran out of time. I wish I had more to add some more levels.
