You guys did a fantastic job on this one!

A unique and pretty look, a whole town modelled, it's really impressing. The gameplay is not the most original but well executed. I was amazed there were actual enemies and had quite a few laughs. My favorite submission!

Thank you, happy to hear you enjoyed it as much as you did!

Hopefully you'll give the official 1.1 update a try when it's out (soon™) ! :--D

The game has personality, well executed presentation, good scenary design and it is simplistic and arcade.

The only thing I missed is the lack of some sort of hitmarker to make sure I am hitting bullets.

You guys did a great job!

PS: Love the menu.

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

A hitmarker is a good idea, I will keep it in mind for the 1.1 release!

Happy you enjoyed our game.

PS: the menu loves you!

As is well known, consuming alcohol will hamper your ability to aim while making you run like Usain Bolt.

I love the presentation. The town is beautifully modelled, and the flat-shaded low-poly aesthetic works really well. It's a pity that this jam version squeezes it through a mandatory low-res filter, because it affects more than your ability to take it all in; it makes aiming really hard, even while sober.

The gameplay is minimal, but "run around and shoot" is a pretty tried-and-true mechanic. I'd much rather play a game that executes well on a simple concept than does a complicated one poorly; and all the style you've heaped on makes this it very enjoyable.

Thanks for the review! Glad you enjoyed it.

The run and gun mechanics are always fun, that's kind of the mindset we had while making this. As you know, we know the low-res filter is not for everyone. This is an internal preference that got carried on to the released version.

But! Going forward we will probably stick to the HD version.

All the best.

THIS ONE! man, this is gold! I really enjoyed the game, and for a 9 day game jam, this is really impresive! The mechanics are solid (of course there's room for improvement), the sound design and music are awesome, almost everything is great.

There's two points that I would improve a little, It was kinda harder at the start to see the differences from when you are drunk and not. Also a  little visual animation/feedback to know when the enemy is shooting would be great;
Second, the low res filter that you put on top of everything kinda screw somethings like the menu, the credits poster and the ui...

Anyway, amazing game, congratulations guys!

Thank you!! Really happy to hear you enjoyed it.

Yeah, don't worry about the low res filter there is already an unofficial HD release floating around.

As for improvements, of course! We loved working on this game and will most definitely release updates and improvements.
