Heartbreaking story. It would be cool if there were upgrades and such. Better difficulty progression would also be good.

"Maybe Jerry doesn't deserve love" lmao poor Jerry you tell that square I love them this instant. Way to do a lot with a little, that was fun!

Love the sound effects!  And I'm going to throw some love out to Jerry.

wow, the sound effects and the music! you went very creative here :)

but i think that jerry is a bit passive aggressive to be honest ^^

I really liked this, the soundeffects are on point

Loved the effort put into this! The sounds really gave it some heart.

Gameplay-wise I think it's a bit lacking. The character feels slow to move even when you have only 1 heart left and the enemies besides the last boss aren't very engaging. Maybe increasing the base speed of the player and adding more enemies at once to compensate for the player's increased speed would help a bit.

But yeah, great job on your entry, it seems like you really enjoyed making it and it shows! :)

Omg this was the best thing. I loved the "music" and all the sounds. I can tell a lot of heart went in to this project.

I won!

I like how Jerry gets stronger when he gets hit, the shuriken are Jerry's best friend for sure.

Also, I gotta admit that I absolutely love the sound effects. :P

The game did not capture focus for the arrow keys.

This seemed to be a problem on my end. Still, the game felt like it was missing something. I am not sure of its relation to the jam's theme. The assets were fine, but there doesn't appear to be some sort of difficulty curve or incentive to play.
