- Broke capture on stream, and wouldn't allow me to do anything after shooting the fox almost immediately?
- Loooved it. So well done. Not quite a fan of the ending, but... still. I spent so long on it, haha! love the art, too.

Really nice and atmospheric game, sadly I couldn't finish. Whenvere I tried to type anything with an "i" in it it resetted the text box :(
Thank you for trying the game out! Sorry to hear it didn't work, could you help me understand better what the issue was? Do you use a non QWERTY keyboard or did you perhaps play with your keyboard language not set to English? The game is set to reset the textbox anytime a non-English character or a space character is entered (which is probably not the best solution but it's what I ended up with)
I'm not really sure myself, I tried typing with a screen keyboard too. I have both "i" and "ı" on my keyboard but tried them both. I didn't try using CAPSLOCK maybe that could have helped?
I was able to reproduce it! I tried using a Turkish keyboard (I don't know if that is what you are using but that's where found both İ and I to be present) and it did the same thing as you said. If you switch to any English keyboard it should work. I'll also add it this to the game page for people to know the game works specifically with an English keyboard. Sorry for the inconvenience 😓
I don't mind it, glad I found a bug that can be fixed :) Weird error btw I didn't know keyboard type could cause such a thing :D
I really loved the game! Will admit I didn't make it to the end though (but I did give it a solid go!! ~25 minutes 😂).
Thank you for playing! I will be adding an improved version that should hopefully make it easier to play and figure out what to do once the rating period is over (:
I look forward to it!!
Very good atmosperic game! Some tips would help a ton, cause if you missed the key words you basically stuck. Otherwise - great work!
Thank you for playing! Yeah, I have noticed that people can get stuck easily if they miss something, so there should be a way to remind the player of what keywords they've encountered
This is such a lovely take on the ol' text adventure and I love it. You've created a real little world here with a credible style. I could play this for a long long time :)
Thanks for playing! And that's too kind!
Wow this game so good, I forget my self playing it, the rain sound and art looks good, my only issue with game is that I had to use the mouse to click I think I should use only the keyboard.
Thank you for playing! You can actually press Enter instead of click, but it's my fault that I forgot to add that you can do that in the instructions in the beginning. Although you would still need to use the mouse to look around, there's no alternative to that. And that's just me being silly and not realizing how bad of a design decision it is to have the player frequently have to switch between their mouse and keyboard until way too late into development when the mouse was already an integral part of the game 😅
Very fun to explore, I tried a lot of things and it have a lot of content! And the end is great. By the way I did not shoot the poor fox, I am no monster!
Thank you for playing! Glad you didn't shoot the fox, although shooting it can lead to an interesting scene later on 😉
Great atmosphere and very cool style. I absolutely love it! Still trying to get to the end tho.
Update: Got to the end and now I want more.
Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Eyyy, I got out! With a bang too!
Really cool game, I love the atmosphere!
Sad I couldn't share the honey with the scary man.
Thank you for playing! Glad you found the way out :)
Great job taking some assets and making them all really fit together to make a cohesive, atmospheric, & fun experience! I had a bit of trouble understanding how to play at first but as I poked around I started to get the hang of it!
I loved the simplicity (less is more) of the gameplay but it got surprisingly deep! I also loved how there was a subplot / narrative that was being told / inferred by the player as you start, that narrative is twisted by specific items you pick up, and choices you make!
This was an absolutely wonderful experience and a great entry to the jam!
Thank you for the kind words! Really enjoyed your game as well! :)
The parser is a little restrictive, but overall, an interesting experience.
Yeah, it's not really flexible 😅
Thank you for playing!
I have not yet made it to the proper ending I think, but I’m intrigued enough to try again later today 😁
Great work on the atmosphere! The controls shifting between keyboard and mouse are a bit disruptive to immersion, but you already responded to the same feedback from someone else below, no need to repeat 😊
Thank you for playing! If you get stuck, I can give some hints to help. Didn't have enough time to do proper playtesting to make sure the ending isn't too hard to reach
Interesting game. Like the art and the sound. I did find the mouse and keyboard interaction a little strange though.
Could not find the "exit" though unless it is waking back up
Yeah, I agree, I thought the same of the mouse and keyboard controls. If I'd redo it again, maybe I'd try something with the arrow keys as a replacement.
And nope, the exit is not just waking back up :) I'll probably spoil it eventually but for now while it's still early in the rating period I'll leave it as a mystery.
I absolutely love the art, did you make it ?
No, no, it's all license free stock image photos haha
I just made the window size really small so that they get pixelated and put a palette filter on top of it. If you remove the filter everything behind looks really funny and goofy :)
Nice work honestly I like it
