I really liked this! I used a strategy of starting with Infinity and choosing the Evo points. Then I upgraded the auto fire so I could focus more on dodging, as well as bullets because they were my favorite. After that I could destroy a lot of the enemies before they got near me by using the radar. Then I had lots of Evo points so I went to History and beat the boss! EVO UNIT-01 LAUNCH! :)

Robot feels too clunky and I feel like the difficulty should come from other elements of the game. However.... Really nice combat. Nice sound effects. Great palette and graphics. I really enjoyed it
Nice art style. I liked that you really leaned in to the pink/purple aestethics works really well for the whole vibe of this game. The robot felt a little clunky at first but once you got used to backpedaling and shooting things got better.
Really cool mech game !
First off really like the whole title reference XD Then the game has a very solid retro mood, the sprites have some good detail to them the music tracks are absolute banger and appart from the smooth sprite rotation this feels really authentic to something that could have been on NES or Gameboy.
Gameplay wise i like the Left/Right weapon separation, and the fact that you can switch between 3 types at all times for each arm is a nice detail.
While the controls are solid, i feel that the choice of tank movement makes progress a bit slow, since you have to manoeuvre more carefully around shots and enemies. Though i do like this approach since this puts the game in a bit more "grounded" territory for the mechs and i feel that's what you intended here.
So overall, real solid entry, good job :)
Loved the SFX, great pixel art, too! the controls just feel a bit weird, but I think it’s just a matter of getting used to it. Overall great game!
The art style is really well put together, and fits so well with all those retro sounds, great work!
