Great game, fun to play, interesting mechanic that effectively balances attacking, defending, and platforming all in this short demo. I like how the first enemy can't hurt you before you get the sword, even though it looks like it could.

My only complaint is the gun sounds: they're just too loud, especially if there's more than one person firing at you. 


Wow, surprisingly simple and fun to play! Great mechanic(s) that feel really well put together in the game. I love how forgiving the checkpoints are!


Awesome job, the game felt pretty great. I can only point out that it'd be easier to be able to know enemies are near the edge of the screen or something, but thankfully it was forgiving enough to let me tank through a couple bullets. Very fun overall :D

High quality.

The movement feels really good and snappy.  The mechanic of the sword works really well, the dichotomy between killing enemies and platforming leads to new mechanical puzzles. For example, how to ascend while blocking bullets from above. Also, good artwork and feel. This is great potential.
