I love the art style of the game! Really charming character and little creatures that spawn. I was a little bit confused by how the rectangles in the bottom left represented dice. Your game reminds me a lot of some things that we chose to do in our game that we submitted - rolling dice to get random creatures!
So cute! Loved the aesthetics and the creatures!
As someone already pointed, I missed some other level of mechanics. The game fits well the luck and dice theme but the gameplay in itself is too simple and I couldn’t come up with strategies to avoid losing.
Maybe the creatures could interact automatically in some way to bring some interesting consequences. And then we could think “well, I’ll try to roll these now because I already have one of those and then something good (for me) would happen”.
Anyway, nice work! Congrats :)
What a cute, chill game, love your art style too! Some audio would be a nice next step!
Excellent use of the theme! I'm a biologist, so I'm very upset with myself for didn't think of something similar, hahahaa. I will totally play more if you continue the development after jam, really lovely work!
Cute art! Simple yet challenging to get a high score. Nice submission.
Really cool concept, with just some more sound design and juice (particles, shake cam, zooms, etc.) it would be even better! The art is great and it's fun to try to get the highest score, well done!
i'm in love with the art!!!
Wow this art style is amazing. Gameplay is simple too. Loved it :)
Wow, art style is cute and beautiful! But in my opinion the gameplay is too simple, some dynamics are missing. Btw, cool work, dude! :P
It's a simple, yet nice experience ^^
There's not a lot to do in the game, but it's what makes its charm. You get attached to these little creatures, I always frowned a bit when one group disappeared :c
It may lacks a counter to know exactly how much of each creature you have, because it's a bit tedious to keep the numbers at all times. But it still works fine without since 10 isn't a really that high. (30 is more complicated though ^^')
The art style and little illustrations are great! Nothing to say on that point, it gives this game a very unique identity. With a bit of music, that would have been perfect!
Good submission! =)
Simple, cute, satisfying and calming. Some music or sounds would definitelly bring it to a new level.
Thank you! Music is my weakness but working on improving that :)
Cool concept!
I wish the creatures would interact with each other (don't worry, I know that would be too much for a jam), so that choosing was a more meaningful decision.
Loved the art style!!
Glad you liked it and thank you for the suggestion! I actually drew 2 evolution of each creature but didn't have time to put them in. Haha.
A fun little game of chance. I think sound would have really elevated this
Thank you for the encouragement!
Agreed with cadyze. 2D + 3D in your implementation was fire. Good graphics, well done!
Thank you! ♡
Very charming and simple push-your-luck game with some player choice/strategy. Really well executed concept that incorporates theme well, really cute art. Wish it had sound effects!
Thank you! I actually found it tricky to come up with a dice-based game idea that's simple to make but still has some decision-making. I found the topic challenging but fun :)
The 2D sprites mixed with the 3D cube animation surprising works well together! Simple and fun once you get the hang of it
Thank you! Glad you liked the graphics :)
