I liked the game pretty well. Its fun, simple arcadey goodness.

I think the transition between the card selection and game could be smoother, but aside from that. Well done!

I had a blast! There were a lot of player-friendly bugs that made it possible for me to get to a point where it was impossible for me to die unless I let it happen, but I liked that. (Made a list at the bottom if you want to peruse.)

I also wish the UI didn't overlay the top of the playing area (so I couldn't see the very top of the map at all), and that the character would have been vertically centered in the playing area, not on the screen (so I saw less above me than below me). I also would have liked to have had an option to exit the game with a menu or a button press.

I liked the random upgrade selection aspect, and the powerups mostly all felt useful. The art and sound were great!

Overall, great job!

Bugs I found:
- on a number of cards the % didn't seem to actually be a %, but a set number, so eventually I basically had 100% chance on all of the effects
- +2% health adds health beyond your maximum, so once I stacked enough of these (see above) I could generate practically infinite health
- +20% ammo adds way more than 20% of the ammo. I think it was like 30 or something per card.

The game is really nice, liked the theme... obviously ;)

Some words are not readable, or very hard to read. Difficulty is really good, considered the card-game aspect (balancing this is hard!) very well done!

I love this! I love retro styled games, love games with randomized upgrade mechanics like this! It was a real treat, thank you. Would love to see continued into a full game, it's a wonderful proof of concept!

Nice aesthetics and audio, just wish it was a bit more difficult - it's quite easy to become overpowered very early on.

Really really fun! Really cool use of theme! Thoroughly enjoyed very addicting

I feel like the bug really makes the game better. Leveling is very satisfying and it could be either become OP or die early. It makes a very nice casual game to play and see a massacre after a few upgrades. Good job! (Edit: Also, I think the black bar above is a bit too low, makes it hard to see enemies)

Game's actually great and addicting. Maybe a level scaling for the late game would be better so I can really feel the weight of my decisions early on

Very fun! Leveling is super satisfying early on, but later it just gets in the way of fun shooting ;)

Really fun game! really satisfying to spray down enemies after a bunch of upgrades.
