There are a bunch of cool ideas here, but sadly most of it is overshadowed by floaty jumps, slow acceleration (makes it hard to aim jumps) and too much inertia.
Oh, and I really liked the idea of second chance when dead and teleporter gun (when rolled into) felt fun to use as well :)
the random "power-ups" extend the platformer very well and the tutorial is very detailed (most games lack this). Sadly the player movement is just frustrating, maybe you could optimize the acceleration (make it faster) and only jump once when space is pressed.
nice game, but the control is a bit difficult.
floaty jumps feel bad. :(
The music loop is quite short. And it seems there is a long space to meet some enemy, didn't have the luck. The jumping is sometimes very hard.
Interesting game idea, but the platformer controls are a little slippery and the music is very repetitive.
Interesting concept. Choosing a longer music loop would have done wonders.
I would have preferred to have the tutorial integrated into the beginning of the game so that I can learn by doing some more. Also the controls and the physics made the game quite difficult already at the very beginning so I wasn't able to get very far. I think the idea had potential though and I could have enjoyed it if the basic platformer part of the game worked a little smoother.
My enjoyment was immediately kneecapped by the very repetitive music, floaty controls, unreliable physics and convoluted game rules. Once I couldn't bear listening to the music I quit.
The rules probably took some creativity to come up with, but complexity a good game does not make.
The menu and sprites that are there look nice and clean, but what isn't there, is most of it...
