Fun game and I love the art style. Would be great to have an indicator on the side of the screen when an enemy is about to enter to allow the player to react prior to being insta-killed. A small animation before enemies firing would also be welcome.

Nice work!

Great work, I feel some nostalgia to old Atari Games while playing it and the Presentation is Awesome! But, Only Rolling the Dice at the beginning feels ineffective for the gameplay. You should have shown Rolling the Dice more distinctive in gameplay.

Very nice visuals and concept. How do the numbers on the dice and the different color of bullets differ from each other? I couldn't quite figure that out.

Great stuff, I really enjoyed this. The presentation is great. My favorite detail you had here is how you can shoot the enemy's bullets and they convert to your colour!
If you had more time to work on this, it would be fun to see the different numbers on the dice give you entirely different weapons? Maybe like 3 is a shotgun for example (of course we are limited here with the 48 hours!)
Great work, congrats on finishing and submitting, and thanks for the game!

Thanks for the kind words!

Really good idea! Do the dice rolls change the damage? I didn't notice. The arcade cabinet aesthetic is nice!

Thank you! :D It's probably not as obvious as it was to us when we were working on it, but higher numbers == more bullets, rather than changing the damage of the shots

Cool game! I like the idea behind it and the visuals are clean. I encountered no bugs and once i figured it out the gameplay went smoothly. The lack of sound effects takes a lot of the juice out of the game, having those would really boost it. And yea, the 1 hp thing. If this was a design decision I support it, but it would help if I could register that i got hit before dying. Like a slow mo moment of getting hit or a simple stillframe that hangs around and shows me that i f-ed up. Good job!

Check out the project I created visuals and sounds for: (please rate it :3 )

Thank you! We did talk about sound but it just never quite made it to the top of the list, which is just how things go sometimes - I'll take a bug free experience though!

Cool idea! As others said, dying in 1 hit is really tough, but it was still fun to play! The aesthetic was fantastic, and the controls were clear and felt good. Though I have a pretty small computer screen and had to zoom out my browser to 70% in order to fit the entire game on my screen, which made things a little hard.

Though if you're considering accessibility, this game would be really tough if someone was colorblind. You did use the different shapes for each color, but there's no way to match the blast color to the ship color. In some cases, certain ships actually look like the blast shape of another color. (for example, the blue shot is an "X" shape, but the green ship is shaped like an "X")

Thank you! :D It's a shame about the screen size - we really wanted the portrait look but that does end up eating a lot of real estate!

I really like idea and the design of it, nice how-to screen, cool indicators for the sum of faces to see at a glance what's the most buffed. Surviving on a single life is very hard though. -@h

I can`t understand how current numbers affect for attack? If I rolled 6-6-6, or I rolled 2-2-2 - attack is the same,

Very fun little game. Dying immediately once you get hit was pretty brutal and took me a minute to understand the controls and have to use my arrow keys while also using the mouse to re-roll but the concept is super creative and allows for a lot of player choice in deciding what kind of blasts come out of your blasters for a given situation

Nice concept and presentation!
