Super cool game! For a moment, I felt like a kid again playing internet flash games, but the controls on this were much better. Love it! <3

It pulled me in and turned out to be an interesting experience. At first, I was drawn by the art and music, and the controls felt pleasant, but then it became really intriguing to figure out what’s going on in this world and with its inhabitants!

Whoa, that was some deep storytelling! When I first left Everjoy I was a bit disappointed that the game ended too fast, but when I played again and reached the actual ending it was so fulfilling. Amazing storytelling, I got sucked into the story. Well done!

I played through the entire game and I loved it! It's one of the best takes on the theme I've seen yet. I saw in awe as this happy go lucky game slowly turned into a terrifying horror game. I think this could go even further if you develop it more and add more different endings or something! I really really love it! Great job! I hope it makes into into the GMTK video!
PS: I love the music at the end with the organ.

It took me a while to figure out I could climb the tree, but after that I enjoyed the mounting sense of horror! I liked the art, maybe the main character could stand out a bit more. The ending didn't quite hit for me, but you crammed a lot of narrative into this, overall great work!

Thanks for the feedback :) For the main character, we thought about making him as anonymous as possible, so the player can identify with him. As for the ending, I'm sorry you didn't like it; perhaps you were expecting to meet HIM?

I thought I did and made a joke about the funny dialogue anyway. Now I'm not sure anymore.
Yeah, the three flowers that remain throughout the game the "tutorial flowers", so they will always continue to do their job for EverJoy. And I agree, it's pretty funny at the end XD
Hats off to your team, this game was excellent. The main character had some super pleasing animations, the game design and writing immediately communicated to me that I wanted the heck out of this "paradise", and I didn't have to do many unproductive loops before I really felt like I got to the escape. Really well done.
